Whats your favourite tie knot?

What is the general view on tie clips? I have collected quite a few.

Always used to wear a tie slide at work. Don't fall into the trap of wearing one too high. It's functional, not decorative. Slid on the tie just below where the top button of a two button suit jacket sits usually looks about correct to me.

I very rarely wear a tie nowadays, but have accumulated an awful lot over the years. They range from OpArt and skinny floral ties from the 60s, massive 70s and through to the most recent purchase, which is a black tie for funerals (at my age there are far too many opportunities to wear this one).
I have, however, decided to persevere with learning to tie an Eldredge knot, in place of my usual Windsor or double Windsor.

..... my usual Windsor or double Windsor.

A Double Windsor? It must look like a scarf!

Edit: I've just been educated by Google that a double Windsor is another name for a Windsor or Full Windsor. I was worried it was some method of double looping a full Windsor.

A slightly asymmetric four-in-hand knot when I have to use a tie.

I'm with you Frankie - that symmetrical windsor nonsense is just too poncy.

Cut away collar, four in hand knot. Simple, elegant, understated, as an English Gentleman should be.
Under no circumstances should the top button be visible. And also shirts should be double cuffed and without a chest pocket. And all non-iron shirts should be burnt.
Apart from that I'm none too fussy!
