What's your best budget shave cream?

Speick without a doubt.I like proraso,i like palmolive but i find speick to be one step ahead in terms of performance.In Germany it costs only 1€...plus it has very very strong scent and the best ingredients!!!


p.s Lea menthol comes in a close second.Awesome scent and great performance!

Speick indeed! And if Wilkinson Sword would make their blue stick (not the flying saucer soap!) in a cream, I would want to have that as well.

Edit: the Wilkinson Sword blue sticks are something completely different than their regular soap ... sadly only available in Germany, I believe (so I stock up when I am there).

Only shop I know to get it is Rossmann, and there it's 2,99€ for 75ml.

LaToja is really nice, but hard to get - produced in Germany yet not sold in Germany:eek:.

I have an arko comfort which was something like 1,99€, and that does a good job, too.
Will try to find some WARS in one of the polish/russish shops here ...

No nivea sensitive in Germany though, only Gel and foam, where to get it in UK?

Yep, I would agree with you if you are talking about the older creams that are in the small 1.7 ounce tubes. Can't tell you about the last incarnation.

The average size tub of most creams is around 5 ounces and that amount of Coates product with shipping included and a choice of flavors costs $5 sent locally to Yankerville USA.

Best part is the stuff performs quite well. Heck of a deal. Matter of fact I have used both the lime and rose a few times each this week.

Yeah, I mean the 1.7 ounce tubes. Never seen anything else. In the US there's a good deal right now - 10 of the tubes for US$1.70 each w/ free (CONUS) postage.

Long time ago they were sold in tubs. If you check over at SMF there's probably some good Coates info around. I believe one noted member named Gordon always liked that stuff.

Man, it's been lots of years but I am also thinking some tubs were found one time that needed rejuvenating by adding some water to em but worked fine.

You can get Nivea lathering cream in a shop called Savers, usually on cheaper high streets.
