Very nice mate. One thing I'm missing in my collection is a good automatic Chrono. I'm on the look out but they aren't easy to find at a good price.

I recently took it to have it cleaned and the young fella who was serving me said “Oh wow is that vintage?”

“If it is, I am too seeing as I bought it as a teenager” was my response.

Good value watches by all accounts, there is a good video on YT by Richard Perritt watchmaker where he makes some beefed up parts and fits them to that watch to make it work better and last longer. Well worth a look.

Watch loving Gents. Please wish your little friend good wishes. This weekend, if the Lume arrives, my weekend project is to re lume the hands on my Glycine Airman GMT World Timer. This picture isn't mine and in this picture the hands look legible to the naked eye. In real life they aren't unless you angle the watch a certain way and at night you can't see them at all. I enquired about a new set of White hands from Glycine. They wouldn't supply them and wanted me to send the Watch to Switzerland for them to change the hands and charge me around £150 + postage there and back for the priviledge. Not me, that's not happening. I have changed watch hands before but never re lumed. Hopefully taking off the dark Green lume and replacing with bright White I hope to be able to see the hands and make the watch useable for me. I'll post the pictures if all goes well, if not I'll cry like a big Girl.

Cheers. Yes they are. I have watched numerous videos showing how to lume hands. I have always had the attitude "If someone else can do something and are willing to show me how, then I can do it too."
