Apologies for not replying sooner, have not been online for a week or so.

Fitting was relatively straightforward, other than the crystal is a press fit, so you really need a watch press with a selection of dies to push it out then back in without damaging it - still makes horrible creaking noises, then a big "SNAP" because you are forcing it into the carbon core case that makes the G-Shocks so strong. It has to be a super tight fit for the water resistance rating i guess.

Not a job for the faint hearted really.

My Steeldive "Sub" has unexpectedly become my go-to daily wear, partly because the Sub is such a classic design and partly because it's my only auto and I know I'll have to reset it if I leave it sat for 48h. Although today I've been wearing my Casio Tough Solar, and that's had a fair bit of wrist time recently on account of me doing stuff that you need a beater for, or no watch at all. The SD is less than £100 so it's not the end of the world if I scratch the sapphire crystal but it's more sensible to wear the plastic fantastic when doing the hedges, messing around with the bike etc.
