What made your day a good one

I covet that Deluxe of yours, it's a beauty.

I've been playing more during this enforced time off. Just need to get an amp now...

Thank you. Looks far more balanced with the more traditional machine heads.

Had that much house stuff on the books (tidy, clear, clean etc) I haven't really had that much of a chance to actually play the thing. But, as from today the house side of the story appears to be pretty much out of the way having cleaned and polished the cars as a final act of being OCD today so the words 'play guitar' have made their way on to the notice board.

Spanking the plank here I come

Satan's lavvie

More what made my weekend a good one.

Starting to clear the garden for a rebuild. Bought the house 16 years ago and never really liked the back yard/garden. It is a typical tall and walled Victorian affair but the previous owners raised it some 4ft or so. Criminal. So trying to recover some of the height and building it in to a more long term garden. They had it all decked out and 16 years down the line everything was starting to collapse.

The amazing thing though was my mother-in-law. 78 years old and just doesn't know when to stop. As fast as I could rip the old decking up she had it out and stacked in the alley for removal next week. Honestly, what a lady she is and my darling of the weekend. She made my weekend a great one.

Mrs Satanfriendly gave great support with tea and things to eat.

I live on a small spring fed lake in Northern Canada. I've been feeding ravens fat trimmed from meat, and other table scraps by throwing them on top of the sauna. (Ravens won't come close to the house and squirrels can't get on the metal roof of the sauna). I was laying on a lounge chair by the sauna soaking up some rays when a raven landed in a large pine nearby and started cawing. Within a few minutes, there were 9 ravens flying around me, (close, which they never do) and sitting in the trees nearby, all making the identical cawing call. This continued for a few minutes, then all of them buggered off at once. I like to think that they were telling me: "We recognize you as the human who is feeding us. You are accepted and appreciated"
Either that or they were laughing at my (sunburned) white skin and grey hair...

It sounds like a wonderful place to live and a nice story. :) P.

They were German Ravens and they want their lounge chair back.

I received a refund from eBay today after waiting for over a month for ten boxes of 15 blades (Schick ProlineP30) which never turned up! So with the refund I re ordered the bladess from another seller in Japan and hopfully these will turn up in September to August sometime, 300 blades, enough to keep my Paradigm SE shaving me for a very long time! :) P.

And after your kindness during this past week I hope your 300 blades turn up on your doorstep.

Otherwise I will fly to Japan for you and see how easily paper houses really do burn.
