What made your day a good one

Using Photobucket and thus posting a URL keeps a layer of protection between you and would be hackers. I don't know if you can put photos into TSR directly because I wouldn't ever think of doing it - it would be a backdoor into my computer.

If Roby chose to use Photobucket - or other host site - his photos would be visible in all the forums he posts in as the URL would copy over.

I started using photobucket today for my SOTD's which i will say is just an added pain the arse but at least it works so far, less those begun to also disappear like so much smoke.

Sigh....why does everyone else but me seem to understand this stuff? It's amazing really that I haven't had a bunch of hackers crawl out of my computer and try to delete me - or steal what little information remains stored in my brain.

You are so not alone O Soapy One ! My wife's computer does have commercially available anti virus prog on it, which I neither comprehend nor get involved in. For my iPad I just trust in the Lord and keep my powder dry. And, as Big Bro B reminds us, you create soapies extrondinaire. I make no comment on his further comment, as from such as I this would not be seemly.

I'm afraid I do solicit JohnnyO, much to my shame. But never fear, I surely can't continue much longer - not only due to my advanced age, but for reasons that cannot be discussed (though not religious). :) But I do provide a public service, and these days, that's a tough business to be in.
Glad you too are mystified by the innards of computers and cyber space; perhaps we could start a club......or attend one of those classes they have in libraries and such places.
Thanks both for soapy compliments. I do my best.

After being rejected in the first ballot. I have been successful in a second ballot for a cup final ticket. This has really made my day.

26 years after my first cup final (aged 9) when we also played Crystal Palace,
hopefully it will be the same result from a United point of view.

Only problem is that my ticket is restricted view. No idea what that will entail.......

Viewing restrictions ? Like pick which support pillar you sit behind whilst listening to the match commentary through earbuds, but nevertheless enjoying the atmosphere and, still, BEING THERE !

Now calm down Johnny,

Having a partial view seat might just mean he will be expected to squint or at worst, close one eye during the match. The sight lines are fine though with no obstruction.

No need jumping to conclusions buddy.

Ampunt of times I've sat in restricted view, back in the days of The Dell (Southampton). That said the support pillar didn't stop my enjoyment.

Ah the Dell, a proper tight ground. Was never lucky enough to go but have been to St Mary's half a dozen times. I know these modern grounds have better facilities and sight lines but something always feels lost when teams move to more modern stadia.

I certainly will enjoy, don't worry about that I'm hoping restricted view just means very front row or very back row but we will see. I remember in the early 90s QPR had seats behind pillars and the tickets were stamped with DIABOLICAL VIEW on them. Great word.
