What made your day a good one

Can't find the old thread to resurrect so I'll start a new one.

A friend in hospital is recovering.

My brother's house in Western Australia did not burn in the bush fire that caused the town to be evacuated.

I've confirmed that I fit into the seat of the stairlift I want - it was doubtful.

Whatever happens, when I get home, whatever the time, whatever the weather, I go for an hour's walk ... about three miles and I can let it all go. That makes any day good. Cuddling cats, too.

Today is a new day and the sun is shining. It's cold, but the sun is shining. Glorious!

Going for a good long walk with my Dogs always makes my day especially on a cold dry crisp winters day, plus as with today recieving the tracking details telling me my NOS Iwasaki western style straight is on it's way in from Japan.:)

Finally, a bright, crisp winter's day with a fresh blanket of snow. Heretofore, our winter has been primarily dull, grey drizzly days, just plain depressing and the sort of days that encouraged my wife to leave England. Yesterday it was -6c and the sun was shining.

Absolutely nothing apart from being alive.
High fever, things coming out of a number of orifices. It's 2pm now and I am for the first time today able to walk to the kitchen.
I'm guessing the flu. Will rub some dirt on it and hopefully I'll be back on my feet tomorrow.
