Holy bugger, I would be still crying untill next Wednesday never mind a few minutes. Anything she asks for she has to get. Unless it is a sticker like I got from the dandy comic in the 70s.

Just got results letter following up my diabetic eye screening…
Apparently got signs of diabetic maculopathy that need to be checked further and they’re referring me to the hospital eye department ….

Very sorry to hear that. Hopefully it's mild and they can treat it quickly and effectively. There are treatments, including injections or laser. My lil sis has been diabetic since she was a child (type 1). All the best.
Yeah fingers crossed! Hopefully it’s just signs and possible to revert it by just losing some weight and better control… but will see what they say once I’ll have an appointment …

Yes, hope so Si. My sister has got one of those things that Bluetooths to her phone and gives her continuous monitoring and alerts. Not sure which, I think it is the Abbot one, Libre. She was diagnosed in the mid 70s and we never dreamed of stuff like that then. Still sucks big time but these gadgets do seem to make control easier.
