What made your day a crap one??

Flicking through the Daily Hate for a giggle at the comments there's a little story about this: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/ar...FH-culture-sees-trainers-footwear-choice.html

Remember, it's the Daily Mail ... so (a) it's true, honest; (b) it's the fault of WFH culture, naturally.

But hold the front page! There's hope!

"Kiwi’s main rival, British firm Cherry Blossom, which also began in 1906, sees Kiwi’s UK exit as a huge opportunity" ... and also make a number of products for Sneakers, which I believe are exactly the same Trainers which the Daily Mail also blames for Kiwi's exit from the UK market. Maybe Kiwi should branch into products for Trainers, also?

Certainly this investigative Journalist believes that Kiwi have proverbially "missed a trick".

Abrupt awakening this morning with the news that my father-in-law had been found collapsed on the bathroom floor. That's taken pretty much the whole day but he's now safely tucked up with the NHS finest overnight. He's largely uninjured. Possible ischemic event. Silly old bugger is still alive, though ... which is good news. He'll pull through.

So, not a great start to the year and if I don't shave in the next couple of hours my potential perfect record for the coming year will be blown.

Glad to hear that your FIL is now settled. Never great getting those types of phone calls in the middle of the night.

May be MWF will help bring in the new shaving year ;)

Glad to here he's ok. Meanwhile, you could ferret through his closet to see if he has some old Kiwi.
