What great natural skin you have!

I have not tried this, but may be worthy of further investigation; have you tried it Sabre? Keep things simple and never overlook the obvious!
The old preparations and remedies are usually the best.
I may have used this. I have a friend who applys Anusol to their eye area.

I think I will stick with my Vaseline and E45. As previously stated I also use Child's Farm Baby Moisturiser as an alternative lighter preparation. E45 especially, has been a staple of dermatology units all over the country for many years. Similarly, Vaseline (or petroleum jelly) has been another staple of dermatology units and been around since eternity. Mine have always been provided via prescription, but nevertheless all of these very simple and effective products represent extremely good value for money and work.

Bepanthen cream. Works wonders on tattoos.

To be honest I have been blessed with good skin and an everyday splash of Witch Hazel and a massage of moisturiser does the trick. I am 60 next birthday and no real wish to look 35, but happy to look decent for my age.
Humbleness makes you feel like peter pan....I also feel happy to look decent at my age.

I agree with the everyday splash of Witch Hazel and a massage of moisturiser method, adding to that i use aloe vera gel too.which works wonderfully for me. Dorian Gray would have loved it!. ;)

All jokes aside, Vaseline is incredible stuff. I use a daily SPF 30 sunscreen/moisturizer that also has LHA (Lipohydroxy acid) by Garnier and am astounded at how well it works!! It is slowly, but surely, fading sun spots:

Most artists don't use it anymore they recommend coco butter for tattoos or they wrap them which requires no aftercare

But I am neither a Peter or a Mr.Pan

Simplicity makes it all worth while. Between that and doing something since an early age. My wife has always worn minimum make up, moisturised and her skin is wonderful condition. I only wear her make up ocassionally.

As long as it's only your good lady's make up you wear ocassionally and nothing else. ;)

Yes, sometimes the best solution is to do very little.
My partner does have a very stringent skin care regime (all of her life, the same as her mother as I understand it) and wears virtually no make up and is always complemented on the condition of her skin.

About five years ago or so, in the frozen winter, my face seemed to be drying out a little near the corners of my eyes. First I tried different soaps, Dove, Neutrogena, and the like. They helped, but not much. Then went to some face creams, snail oil and horse butter, or maybe snail butter and horse oil. (For real, there are some strange lotions in this corner of the woods.) They kind of helped. Recalling what a physician's assistant once told me about soap removing the natural oils from my skin, I stopped using it in my daily shower and all was well.

Come the buds of May, the soap is back on the tray, but when the leaves turn yellow it doesn't see any action.

My skin has always been soft but not sensitive. Don't have much in the way of wrinkles.

I have no desire to be a Dorian Gray, Peter Pan or whomever. Good old soap and water work well for me as well as an alcohol-based aftershave splash. I do, however, have fair skin and have to take care in the sun otherwise it's a trip to the dermatologist to have liquid nitrogen treatments to remove sun damage, which is not pleasant. According to the dermatologist my skin is in good shape and ageing very well, I'm going on 73. When I was a teenager I had just a few pimples and absolutely no acne unlike most of my friends. It's mostly in the genes since I've never engaged in any facial skin care regimen. As for my wife, she seems to spend a great deal of time, not to mention money, “pampering” her skin. I don't think she needs to and would be quite happy if she eliminated most or even all of her skincare products. But, happy wife = happy life. In the end, nature will win, regardless.

There's humour & then there's being an ass.
I'm humor, you're an ass.
