I like a bit of CCR too. I have a couple of their Greatest Hits CDs. I particularly love Up Around The Bend and Bad Moon Rising (which I have loved ever since first hearing it in An American Werewolf In London).

Here's a bit of CCR trivia...lead singer/guitarist John Fogerty wrote and recorded the original version of Rockin' All Over The World, which later became a huge hit for Status Quo in 1977. Quo's version is probably better known, though, and it became one of their most recognizable songs, even though it wasn't written by them and was, essentially, a cover version. Their version also did much better chart-wise than Fogerty's version, in this country anyway.

Funny old world, isn't it.....

It was more than a few years ago, one of my friends pulled out best of CCR album. Every track was a known song and brilliant. It was like I have never heard of them then all of a sudden I knew everything they ever recorded. Fantastic group.
