What about Pocket Scents

I have just tried a fragrance from my first Clone House ….Pocket Scents.
Its their interpretation of Tom Fords Neroli Portofino Forte and I am really impressed.
Its a lovely clean Soapy scent which gets very close to the NP DNA,
I have had it on since 12 30 and its still going strong...the customer service is really very good and I highly recommend.
I will definitey be purchasing again.

Thought I would give an update on Pocket scents Neroli Portofino Forte.
To me its a lot more masculine than the original TF NP with a more pronounced lemon note.
The lemon note is reminicient of ADP in my opinion and I think its like a cross between 4711,TFNP
ADP Colonia and Essensa.
I did try some perfume parlour scents a few years ago and didn't get on with them
and I have been quite anti clone houses ever since but I have got to state that this one pocket scents fragrance has blown this opinion out of the water for me. Today after 8 hours it was still a faint skin scent which is amazing performance for this type of fresh/citrus type scent in my opinion. As a result I left a positive review on the pocket scents site and swapped e mails with Matt (Pocket scents chief) he told me that my juice was a brand new batch that was made at the weekend. This means it will still be macerating and could potentially get even stronger within a couple of weeks. Not bad for £8.99 plus £3.50 1st class postage for 50ML.

I remember Pocket Scents' first attempts, maybe two years or so ago, were not well received. They seem to have got it right of late and their scents are being highly marked on internet review sites. I think I might support my local business and try a scent or two from them. Since they don't publish the equivalency of their scents it might be useful to add this info, as far as we have come to know, to this thread

Neroli Forte = TF Neroli Portofino
Bloodaxe = Viking
Leather Essenza = Leather Ombre
W'Oud = Oud Wood
Imperial Oud = Bond No 9 Harrods Oud
Molecule Scent = Molecule 01
Royal Woods and Oud = Royal Oud
Italian Oud = AdP Colonia Intensa Oud
La Creme Tabac - Tobacco Vanille
Isles Vierge = Virgin Island Water

If you know any more, post them up!

Just took delivery of Neroli Forte and Pineapple Sauvage. Early days yet but a sample spray seems very promising. The Neroli smells clean and sweet with that slight 'soapiness' one expects from he likes of TF Neroli Portofino. There is no apparent trace of the headachy over-sweetness which characterise poor Neroli products.

I took a chance with 'Pineapple Sauvage' because there seemed to me to be some danger of this being in the Aventus mould and , love Aventus as I do, I don't need more. However, this turned out to be what I was looking for with the pineapple more sustained.

There certainly seems to have been a renaissance in 'homage' scents. The best of them are classy and enjoyable in their own right.

I'm tempted to get the aventus and compare with copycat but it looks like 100ml only.

I have just ordered "Bloodaxe" which is their interpretation of Creed Viking from their premium range.
I will report back once I have taken it for a test run. It has had a lot of love from online reviewers.
