Watery coffee

Hello folks.
I have a delongi drip filter machine, a mini blade grinder and some Jamaican Blue Mountain beans.

I have found that my coffee seams quite watery and thin. My preference is thick strong coffee, so I am looking for some advice to help improve the quality.

I use unbleached paper filters.

Sorry I missed it was drip
That recipe is for cafetiere

A litre of coffee, eh? In my 25% off Council Tax household, that sounds a bit much! I just turned up the grinder quantity dial until I got the right result in my cup.

If I remember rightly thats only 4-5 tablespoons. I use 3 tablespoons of coffee in a 4 cup mocha pot which is probably around 300ml or so. Try upping your coffee amount to a middle class 9 tbls, or use the same coffee amount with 1/2 to 2/3 of the water:coffee_cup:
