Vintage UK blades - best combo?

One I came across is Eversharp Super Stainless, great long lasting blades. The only problem is I have only ever seen the one listing. I have various Wilkies, Personna, Bleue's, and a load of Polsilvers that I sometimes use..........not used the Bleues or Polsilvers lately.
I still use modern blades depending on what razor I am using, but like most I get less shaves out of most modern blades.
@Sabre I had a number of Jewel Blades and I think they are made of balsa wood as the shave is shocking.......well at least the ones I have/had were...

This thread made me "commission" a NOS Wizamet Polsilver blade out of storage to use. I have used it twice and the first time with FA soap was a good shave, but not great. The next shave I used a non-tallow Sudsy Soapery soap and the shave was w/o peer, BUT as you can surely discern the soap was more a factor in these shaves than the blade which is far more often the case than most acknowledge.

I used the same razor and prep was the same as well. This Sudsy Soapery non-tallow is probably the best soap I personally have used. At least for my face it "checks" every box.

A combo that works brilliantly for me is vintage Gillette Platinum "Whites" (which some claim are a variant of Swedes) in a Feather AS-D2 razor.
The Whites are very sharp, but much smoother than a Feather blade. The combination of a very sharp blade in a mild razor results in a wonderful shave for me.

I really appreciate the same type of combination. I use Wilkinson Light Brigades and Personna 74 Tungstens in a Feather AS-D2 and a Charcoal Goods Level 1 Brass and get consistently great shaves.

Those combos sound terrific.
I have a few Personna 74 Tungstens and they are wonderful blades in just about all of my razors. I'm still searching for a few Light Brigades......... the quest continues.

I have done a hanging hair test Platinum vs Feather in my Dovo shavette and Feather is sharper but the difference is maybe due to edge being a bit rough making it easier to connect and cut in this test.
