Vintage Palmolive Aftershave

Hi Chaps

Anyone else tried this? I scored some on Ebay, it's lovely stuff. Searched for ages to find some and finally found it. Smells similar to the shaving soap! Wish they still made an aftershave to compliment the soap, i'd be all over it!

Both items are still full apart from the splash of aftershave I've used. I've not tried to operate the shaving foam, not sure if I want to - I imagine the contents are knackered, although the canister is in perfect condition.

I'm thinking this has to be 1970's, what do you guys think?

Great find. I never tried this, but always wondered, why old shaving soaps, creams and aftershaves performs and smells better? I only tried vintage erasmic, imperial leather and old spice shaving soaps and aftershaves.

Agreed, I've tried the same products as you apart from Erasmic, and they all smell very nice, shame they don't make these products any more. I bet they were at a reasonable price point too!

I love the smell of Palmolive soap, so whilst searching for an Aftershave or EDT that smells similar, I discovered they used to make an official aftershave, I've just never seen much info about it, and certainly not one advertised before...

Yes you are right, I can't remember seeing any advertised before. Palmolive used to be Colgate perhaps that's why?
