Village Barber + Proglide Flexball = One Smooth Head Shave

Gentlemen.
I love wetshaving, as does my skin. My face has never felt better, no irritation and the rest. That's why we're all advocates I suppose.
But when it comes to shaving my head, it's just too time consuming and I can't get that close feel that I like.

On a whim in my local Wilko last month, I bought the new gimmicky Gillette razor, it was on offer.
Well.
Five weeks in and all I can say, fantastic.
Best head shaving experience I've had, especially when paired with Village Barber shaving oil.
Smooth to the touch, quickly and without fuss and irritation.
Can't recommend enough.

Not a head shaver myself ( yet, on a No1 grade all over) but I can see why this combo would work. Food for thought for the future

I've been using a Wahl Balding Clipper for 6 months as opposed to wetshaving my head, saves time and is about as close to a razor blade shave you can get without using a razor blade.
Still, it's not quite as good and that's why I tried the Gillette.

I generally use a Wilkinson Sword Hydro 5 for the bonce, which does a great job too.

Man up and use a R41 like me! Seriously though man, head shaving is a mare! It's good you found something you get on with.

I'm a headshaver and the best thing I ever bought was a headblade - ditched the 4 blade thingy got an adaptor for sensor twin blades and can get a shiny smooth dome in a couple mins no hassle
