Trial packs?

Hi, as I'm new to this I was wondering what members think of the selection packs on eBay? I've seen several places offering packs of various blades, usually two of each make for around £6.
What do you think?

They're a good way to try different blades. I seem to remember buying a sample pack from a guy called Shave Boss on eBay. It was also around £6 and helped me work out what blades worked for me.

It's always going to cost more that buying 50-100 of a single brand but it's not a huge cost to experiment.

IMO, I'd recommend going to the Razor Blade Club website or TryABlade, and ordering 2 a piece if that is what you are after.

If you're looking for a sampler that contains several tucks (each containing 5 or blades) then Connaught Shaving have some good samplers. They have some good ones including a Gillette, Lord & Treet sampler.
