Ordinarily I shave daily Mon-Fri, leaving my face fallow over the weekend.
I have noticed that almost every week my Thursday shave is my least satisfying, regardless of razor/blade/soap choice. If I'm having a week of crappy shaves, Thursday will be crappiest. If I'm having a week of great shaves, Thursday will be least great.
I have seen people speculating that their skin needs a rest after a while, so it would make sense that shave quality tapers off over a week, but why then am I generally happy with Friday's shave? Of course this is all very subjective, and I'm not measuring any absolute quality of shave, but I was wondering if anyone had noticed anything similar?
