The Goodfella's Smile Reviews

Any thoughts of Goodfellas Furiah or Inferno. I like the idea of a darker scented soap but already have P&B Spitfire (Which I love) but don't want to buy if the scent is similar. Any thoughts ?

One of the Extro soaps may suit you better. Maybe Egyptian Oudh or Fra Rinik?

The Furiah is the first GFS soap I bought and I love the scent. It smells similar / identical to Razorock Puros and Extro Tobacco. I would say that its different to Spitfire. I would say a bit sweeter

Razor: Merkur 37C
Blade: Super ShaveX (3)
Brush: Yaqi Purple Haze
Soap: TGS Pino Alpestre
Pre: Proraso Cypress and Vetiver
ASL: TGS Pino Alpestre
ASB: LEA

I stand by my original observations of this soap. A pleasant scent and good lather. It's a keeper. 150ml (5.3oz) for ~£9 is good value for this.

ASL is nice and matches the soap once the initial disinfectant smell has passed. Mind you, disinfectant is the 'in thing' in 2020.

I have the Pino Alpestre as well (it's the only GFS soap I've tried) and I agree with this. Performance is great and the scent is clean, fresh and "piney", if a little one-dimensional. I like the aftershave splash as well, it's very soothing. Good value for the price.

The TGS Pino Alpestre is a nice soap. Probably made by TFS and shares the same style of tub as the Rasozero range. It has a scent that reminds me of the Rasozero Spiffero with a fresh pine fir scent over the top. I really like it. Good slickness with sufficient residual slickness for touch-ups. It was easy to get a good lather and it's seems to have a wide water acceptance range.

I also used the matching ASL which initially smelt like I was applying disinfectant to my face (probably the alcohol and fir combo) but this soon mellowed and I'm now getting the same nice scent of the soap.

This set is a keeper.

I also like this soap and AS, but as my jar is slowly running out, I was wondering if I should also try Bignoli’s Aghi di Pino. Does anyone have experience with both soaps and which one is preferable? Thanks for your advice.
