Found an Old Spice Shaving Stick (Shulton) at the back of a drawer in my bathroom’s cabinet. It must be at least 30 years old and it is still half length. I used it this morning and the easiness with which it produced a nice lather (albeit in my shaving bowl) was quite impressive. I can’t say much about the scent: it smells like Tabac Original, I guess, a scent I don’t dislike. What do you guys think: is it still worthwhile to continue using this stick, or should it end up in the dustbin as soon as possible (what my wife suggests me to do)?

Keep using it for sure i have 1 also and a lot larger than the normal stick.
What i would say is get back in the cupboard.
If you’ve not been in ot for 30 years you just never know what you’ll find

True, I also found a badger shaving brush (unfortunately without a brand name) dating back to my days at college. I got to know Old Spice Shaving Sticks when I was in the army for military service (guess we got one for free when we came in) and I’ve been using them for face lathering during quite some years afterwards. Relics from a time long past!

The good old shaving stick unfortunately nearly a thing of the past although i’ll have enough for my life time

Apologies if I have posted some of this before.

A few Old Spice items I have to hand that aren't currently in storage

I won't use this as the talc production methods of the time mean a potential for asbestos contamination, plus the hexachlorophene was found to sometimes get through the skin barrier into the central nervous system and cause health problems!
