I updated the site T&C (you know the one no one reads when they register? :) ) to make them less 'heavy'

Anyway here is a copy for your perusal, edited part in Bold

Well done. Put in a rather large nutshell. (maybe add "No hissyfits or huffs" . You know who you are!)

PS
Was back in H-town today watching the football. Ended up in Chapelhall, Carfin and Newarthill as well. In the snow and diffusing low winter sun these Scottish hamlets were...magical, almost Brigadoonish.
Then somebody threatened to throw a Buckfast bottle at my car when I drove past the grotto

The Shire has snow of biblical proportions, Glasgow has nowt but pishy, icy frozen slush.

At work today a youngish chap fell on the ice, set off to help him thinking he was pished. Upon arrival, the perfectly sober, respectable chap simply fell over and could not get up as it was so icy. I being the brick that I am went to his assistance with the obvious result I fell on my bakey. How my young baseball hat, shellsuit attired friends laughed at my predicament, did they help anyone? did they fuck.
He who laughs last, etc. etc.

I know, I know. I AM the embodiment of the romantic period.

Greetings from the colonies!
New member here, before I get involved with your site, I would like to say that the reason I'm joining is, I've been on
shave sites here in America, and did not particularly care for the tone. They always seem to degenerate into childish
name calling, and personal attacks. Unfortunately, crassness has replaced clever commentary in our nation, and
is now the order of the day. I haven't been in the U.K. since the mid 70's, so I'm hoping decency and proper
etiquette have not been sacrificed there as well. If we can't look to the British for deportment and diplomacy
then truly, all is lost. So in conclusion, if indeed this is that type of site, I shan't be here for long.
Looking forward to communicating with you gents, hopefully learning a bit, and gaining a good bunch of mates.

You've come to the right place mate. Several years back it had even more colourful banter and authentic spirit, but still it's a nice and jolly place to visit.

Sounds juicily good! I don't want to come off as ‘ stiff' or ‘stuffy', I enjoy a good ribbing as much as anyone.
I think you'll find I can be a bit of a lad myself! I just feel maintaining a civil tongue is always a plus.
Obviously, discussions of opinions can sometimes lead to disagreements, but if civility is observed
they can be resolved in a mutually honourable fashion.
And please, don't feel you have to ‘Americanize' your'e speech for me. Feel free to speak the Kings'.
I will glean what I can from the context, and if I don't understand I will ask. After all, one of the reasons
I joined this site was to learn.

I was here years ago - I learnt how to shave.

My father used to nick himself. When he could afford it, he bought an electric shaver. He bought me one too. I can't stand the dust though. The cheap disposables are horrible as are the multi-blade horrors. Ended up with a Muhle (long-handled popular one) using only Feather blades.

I bought blade selection packs which I don't need anymore. Are they date limited in any way? They're still in their original plastic wraps.

Arthritis and unsteadiness and savings have made me think of going Feather ATW. Even the stand seems extortionate, but the way I've seen chrome deteriorate recently (liquid soaps etc), I suspect it's probably worth it.

Should I? And if yes, where to buy?

Rrr
