I have just been trying Tatra Platinum blades...Which Helen and Glen at Gemstone kindly included with an order...just a free sample with no obligation to buy...
What superb blades they are, I think I prefer them to my favourite Polsilvers, and that is saying something..
The shave was with a Tech razor (Brass but of uncertain vintage) along with Speick soap applied with a boar brush...
A silky smooth shave, the blade sharp, it just glided through my tough stubble, no tugging, no irritation, just smooth and almost BBS in two passes, one with and one against the grain...DFS+...an added bonus, the wax dots on the wrapping are minimal as well..Those waxy dots do so annoy me, with their sticky residue.
Worth a try boys and very cheap...In fact I just ordered a hundred or so before they're discovered.
