I initially used Tapatalk but quite like navigating the new site on a browser now so can, personally, live without Tapatalk. I currently use Brave. Is the experience better on other browsers though? By that I mean is the site optimised for a particular browser.

Also, I think Tapatalk automatically reduced the photo size during upload whereas I need to reduce the size in a separate app now. Is there a shortcut to doing this I'm unaware of?
It is responsive based on screen size rather than browser type so it should look the same across them all, even on desktop browsers if you make the window small the site will move everything to keep it visible.
Image upload is a definite upside for Tapatalk although they are actually hosting the images rather than them being sent to our server which I don't like.
I have set the site so it will automatically resize images to keep things neat but it only accepts smaller files so they need to be saved in a smaller size before trying to upload. Last time I migrated, a lot of the problems and delays were down to the massive amount of data we have now. The majority of it is made up of image files so I added the size limit going forward. I will have a look to see if there is a solution but I don't think there is a way to plug in a file resizer.

It's no real hardship to shrink the files before uploading them. I just wanted to make sure there wasn't a handy shortcut I was missing.

100% agree. That’s why I use it for SOTD, scent of the day, all but and sell etc. Otherwise I have to add pics to pc. Then have to find way to reduce size etc so since Tapatalk has been down I haven’t really posted anything picture wise.

If it helps anyone, there's an app on Android called Lit Photo that compresses the image size. Obviously this reduces the quality of the image but it makes a standard 3mb phone camera picture in to <1mb in a few clicks.

I'm in exactly the same position. I'm finding it really difficult to upload pictures due to the file size limit. Tapatalk made things so much easier.
