Synthetic Brush recommendations

You're probably right, but there is a "scritch" difference between the Mew Brown (SynBad) and their Cashmere with the latter having softer tips. These two are my "workhorses" with the latter being my favorite if pushed to decide. The Mew Brown works a tad better with harder soaps and with more than a day's beard growth due to its having a tad more backbone & "scritch" IMO. YMMV.

One thing for sure, YaQi synthetics will "kill" any desire for other brushes as they work that well!! ;)
IMO, Yaqi synths are very good but some are better than others. Which ones are better will be down to the individual's preferences.

Like the above, I have 2 Yaqi brushes which I favour more than the others I own. The Mysterious Blue Fan Tuxedo has the lowest glue bump, is a little floppy but dense enough and it works really well with creams. Faux Horse/Rainbow handle has good backbone, still splays well - it's the brush I use for harder soaps eg MWF.

I have a chubby 2 badger so went for a chubby 2 synth to compliment. Probably not very helpful to say that they feel quite different! Synth is softer in the hand, lathers well despite not retaining water. Hard to say which is best as I alternate and enjoy both. For travelling it’s a no-brainer, I’ll take the synth which dries much more quickly, and won’t miss its badger sister.
Cheers

Also no mention to date of the Cadman 30mm Tuxedo. Not cheap (although one of mine was a super BST bargain) but to me they are pretty well unbeatable and hence why I have two.

Great lather monsters. Do everything right and nothing wrong.
