Synthetic Brush recommendations

Currently using a Plissoft Access, same knot as the loccitane brushes but different handle. Looking for something similar with finer fibres, little/no backbone and easy to splay. I have the apshaveco 24mm cashmere in mind. Anything else I should consider?

YaQi and Dscosmetic brushes off Aliexpress are good.
I find the razorock brushes are also good (the big bruce is the one that got me into synthetic brushes).

They both have a lot of choices I see, are the different coloured fibres just cosmetic or do they feel different aswell? I am interested in the cashmere brushes from dscosmetic

I rotate these 4 synths. They are the only brushes I use :

Razorock BC Silvertip
Razorock Bruce
AP Shave Co. Synbad
Mühle STF

Happy with them all, I use the Bruce slightly less as the fibres donut, but I love the handle shape. I use the Mühle for travel mainly because of the storage tube. None of them feel prickly to me. I tend to paint the lather on rather than really mash the brush into my face, and they are all nice and soft

I second the Yaqi brushes,
The fibres are all probably the same just different colours. However I have a short loft and it has a wicked backbone, use it for travelling and if I need a rush shave.
But I also have a 24mm Timber wolf. Super soft.

You're probably right, but there is a "scritch" difference between the Mew Brown (SynBad) and their Cashmere with the latter having softer tips. These two are my "workhorses" with the latter being my favorite if pushed to decide. The Mew Brown works a tad better with harder soaps and with more than a day's beard growth due to its having a tad more backbone & "scritch" IMO. YMMV.

One thing for sure, YaQi synthetics will "kill" any desire for other brushes as they work that well!! ;)
