These were made in Brasil and are obviously NOS. I have used the same version made in Mexico before of which I have a few left and those are indeed up to snuff re Gillette quality. Great blades, that is. I imagine these will shave the same. Blade code is N 1 = 1993 I believe.

I worked in Mexico for 8 years and have a lot of Mexican friends as a consequence........they never send me anything. May be I should get them hunting

To be frank, I live on border and I as a White Man never venture over there now as the danger is utterly incomprehensible. Yes, it's that bad. My friend paid the equivalent of $8.00 US for the 50 blades. I am going to investigate if this small hardware type store has more and also perhaps other Gillette brands.

I can well believe your words. Very few parts remain somewhat safe in a very tongue in cheek sense.

I got threatened in so many ways.....and that was from my immediate bosses at Pemex the state owned oil company I was contracted to.

Can't recall seeing any shaving attire and there was no way I was going to sit in a barber's chair and ask for a 'cut throat'
