Spanish shaving products...

I'm just about to disappear to the south of Spain for a month of or so for a work trip (it's a hard life!). Assuming they let me out for an hour or two to wander round the shops, are there any particular brands of shaving products I should be on the look out for? I won't have much time for hunting things down so preferably brands and products which are easily available in the supermarkets or pharmacies over there.

Thanks in advance!

You'll find Alvarez Gomez products in El Corte Ingl'es stores.
Prices are cheaper than in the UK.
They may still have stock of the shave cream?

HyperDino supermarket stock Lea, Williams, La Toja among others. All at very good prices.
They also sell an excellent aftershave called N Locio'n for about €2 per 200ml plastic bottle.
It contains seaweed extract, and works wonderfully without being overly scented.

A bit of a shame you won't be able to run about, but if you need to sit tight now, maybe you could order a Seygus razor. ;-)

As said by the above -

La Toja - stick, cream, splash and balms
Lea - sticks, creams and splash
Williams - tube creams - try the menthol - and Aqua Velva splash
Floid - splashes and balm

All easily available - and cheaper than here - you'll get them in any decent sized supermarket.

Alvarez Gomez - soap - appears - sadly - to be discontinued - the last stock I could find was in Granada - January this year - El Cortes Ingles - you should still be able to find the edt, balm and cologne.

Nivea - the whole range - much cheaper.

Myrsol - good luck - for a Spanish product - I've never seen them for sale in non-specialist shops.

Another vote for N'Locion aftershave - cheap as chips - Supersol own brand - if I remember correctly.

Oh - if you are in Cortes Ingles - and just looking for basics - Lea, Floid, La Toja, Williams and Nivea - go downstairs into the supermarket - they will be even cheaper than in the gent's grooming section on the ground floor. Most ECI will also carry a limited range of Vie Long brushes.

Hope this helps - hope you get to go out and about - I.

Thanks. I hadn't heard of them before and they look great. I'm not in the market for a new razor right now unfortunately (I'm waiting for the Executive Shaving Outlaw to come back into stock), otherwise I might well have given them a try!
