Sunday 10th March

YaqI Chianti 24mm Synthetic
Squadron Red Lead
Rockwell 6C R4
Astra SP (2)
Floid Mentolado Vigoroso AS

Three days growth removed with ease and no mishaps to report. The Astra blade on it's first use seemed a little rough, but this time was very smooth. I would normally use Old Spice Aftershave when I use Red Lead soap, but opted for the Floid,. Not a scent match, but the post shave feel was very good.

Stirling Syn. 26mm
Stirling Baker Street soap
ATT SE1 & Windrose handlell
Feather Pro [ 1 ]
Tuff Green A/S Lotion

I have for a long time been favouring the use of Schick Proline blades over other brands, so thought it appropriate to retry the Feather Pro as I was due a blade change in the ATT SE1. My first few strokes were cautious but I soon got the feel for this Razor/Blade combo, and completed the Shave without mishap. The Shave was very smooth and comfortable and the all round finish was very good bordering on face stroking apart from a small area where i had not done enough work. I will use this blade a bit more, as some of my other AC/SE are due a blade change, those Schick Prolines do last well.

We have been on a bit of an OC run lately with my Sheraton and Aristocrat leading the way so today was the New LC which like the Sheraton comes from Chris Spencer at Back Roads Gold. Loaded up with a Gillette Silver Blue it really is an incredibly smooth shaver. Today's soap was Barrister & Mann Seville with the matching aftershave splash. Love the performance of and scent of this soap quite a lot. Two pass near BBS shave and good to go to work. Finished off with Prada Amber Pour Homme Intense as a treat to me. Long week ahead. Enjoy all and safe travels.
