Hi Wayne
It's a solid aluminium handle and appears turned. It weighs in at 95g. It's the same 24mm knot as my Sagrada Familia (76g). The glue bump is slightly lower and very comfortable in the hand. I think Yaqi do the same handle with a Timber Wolf knot.
Here's a comparison pic of mine.

Thank you Arthur for your time and valuable information. I am on the case as we speak. ;)
All the best.

Tuesday 12th February (Nivea Night)

Hot bath/Nivea Protect & Care Body wash
YaqI 24mm Tuxedo Marble Handle
Nivea Originals Shaving Cream
Ikon 101/Ikon SE Handle
Gillette Silver Blue (3)
Nivea 2 Phase Aftershave Lotion

I tried the Ikon 101 on the SE handle for a change. I found that it improved the shave, although, the razor head looked dwarfed by longer, thicker handle, (Opposed to the Bulldog)
Nivea shave cream does a fair job. Scent wise it's not very inspiring, but the lather is thick and slippery with adequate protection.
Finished with the obvious choice -Nivea 2 Phase ASL.
Mostly BBS and refreshed

SOD 12/02/2019

In preparation for my first straight razor arriving in a few days, I thought I would give shaving with my left hand a try.

Did just one WTG pass which is usual for me. Sometimes i'll do two WTG passes if I want to get a closer shave than normal.

I had no problem with the cheek area. Things got much more complicated on my neck. My hair grows upwards on my neck and I found it very difficult to hold the razor upside down and go upwards whilst following the curve on my neck. Kept to very light pressure so no nicks or cuts. Had to do a little clean up with my right hand though.

Prep: Exfoliating face wash with hot water.
Soap: Vitos Extra Super
Brush: Semouge 1305

ej handle, old type head, omega 11126, 1912 Irish Fern, Bond a/s, Bond balm. merkur blade #2

today's shave is a good example of how you can have a good overall shave but one component can be very poor. my skin feels amazing right now but man, that blade really hurt - each stroke was rough and painful. i was too lazy to get a fresh blade so i continued with it but i have no irritation or cuts, which is really surprising. I may give merkur blades another chance if i have any left in my pile but this one is dead (2 shaves!)

Another smooth shave this morning, but after the forth shave the Feather blade is spent. I'm enjoying the iKon handle on this razor, it gives more weight and better balance. I think it might stay. Excellent lather from the soap and brush and a clean and comfortable result.
