Yesterday morning;
Rocca & Nacet
APR Fresca set
YaQi Mysterious

A decent shave with a different tact, yesterday. I started under my chin, when tackling my neck, and worked from North to South. Aside from a few very minor blood spots at the very base of my neck, this worked! It's perhaps the cleanest looking shave I've had - those pesky flat hairs were nowhere to be seen! If I can reduce the, albeit slight, blood-loss I think I'll adopt this approach herein.

Pre:

warm wet flannel to my face.

Pears ~ Transparent Glycerin Soap.

Brush: Wilkinson Sword ~ Pure Bristle.

Bowl Lather.

Soap : Arko/Palmolive shave sticks (Grated)

Blade: Zorrik SP.(2)

Razor: Kanzy ~ K 100.

Warm wet flannel/ cold wet flannel to rinse my face.

Post:

Cold Water Face Rinse./Homemade Lemon Lime,+Peppermint Oil & Menthol Crystals Witch Hazel Mixture./ Gillette ~ Blue A/S.

Nivea Men~ Sensitive Cooling Post Shave Balm.

Greetings,

After my recent shaving den cleanout, i've now started to add items to my shave set-ups that i've hardly used since they where kindly passed on to
me....That's the problem when you have too much shaving tools to use, you become complacent, and go for the same shaving items all the time.

The kanzy K100 performed wonderfully smooth ,paired up with the zorrik sp, which made the shave a pleasurable experience, resulting in a 3 pass + pick ups comfortable sunday shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a generous dollop of Nivea Men~ Sensitive Cooling Post Shave Balm.

My Face is feeling smooth & smelling devine.

[emoji831]️Oatcake Shaving Soap
First use of the oatcake soap and it exceeded my expectations. I get the nutmeg & oats scent from the tub and the scent when lathered is subtle and sweet which reminded me of a Caribbean Spiced Bun! Good cushion and protection. The post shave feel was excellent, skin felt hydrated and well nourished, didn't feel the need to apply any splash or balm, I had a great shave, very impressed with the quality of this soap.

Martin de Chandre original
Simpson Chubby 1 super
Parker Variant (3.5)
Gillette Nacet (2)
Bart's Balm bergamot and vanilla
Creed Royal Oud Millesime
Similar shave to yesterday, only change was Simpson Chubby 1 instead of Simpson M7. Resulting in same great shave. I really like the way the Parker Variant shaves me close and smooth with minimal fuss. Very similar to the Merkur Progress, on which the Variant is closely based, and the MÜHLE Rocca, which it isn't. These three are top of my tree for now...
Happy shaves, happy Sunday.

A lovely Sunday morning shave. I really like this soap but every time I use it, about half an hour later, I think, should've used a balm.
Damn my dodgy memory.
Happy Shaving one and all.

NSS Signature Warm Spice
RazoRock Plissoft 24mm synth
Face lather
ER 1924
Gem SS PTFE
Thayer's Cucumber and Aloe Vera
Floïd Mentally Vigorous

I hadn't used Nanny's soap in a long time; and it really is good stuff, imo. Plenty cushion and glide and wonderfully slick by the time of the third pass. The cardamom scent is nice too. Vigorously mentalated to finish; cool and smooth.

Sun 9th Sept

Omega 11126 boar
Speick Active
Mongoose B3
Feather Pro [ 4 ]
La Toja A/S Lotion

Until Today I was beginning to think that the Feather Pro was not a good blade for me. However, with the
Speick providing the kind of Lather essential for a good Shave, I decide to give it another chance. As not going out today there was no rush, so started off initial clearance with short strokes and that obviously suited the combo. After initial clearance it was possible to lengthen the strokes, and the Shave was completed very easily being smooth and comfortable.

I have had some good Shaves over the last few Days, but this was possibly the best though it may well
have been helped by the fact that return growth had been minimised by a super shave yesterday. Have decided that I will persevere with these blades and not pass them on as previously intended.
