SOTD : Saturday 8th September - Friday 14th September 2018.

Prep: Shower & Nivea deep cleaning face wash
Razor: iKon B1 open comb
Blade: Gillette Silver Blue
Brush: Razorock Bruce
Bowl: Executive Shaving handmade
Cream: T&H Ultimate Comfort
Post: Barts Balm Peppermint Oil ASB

Sorry no pic. First use of GSB blade for a little while, it was heavenly compared to my previous shave, with a Gilette 7 o'clock Yellow. These two blades are like chalk and cheese to me. Yellows give a very close shave but other than that my face does not like them at all. I get minimal irritation after using a GSB and what little there is clears up a lot sooner than the yellows. Still got a few weepers with the GSB, but BBA shave matches soon sorted them out. Only got them after ATG pass anyway, next time with this blade I will try an opposite direction XTG instead of ATG. Even with the weepers though, one of my best DE shaves yet. End result is skin looks way better than it did after using the yellows.

Wed 12th Sept
Vulfix 404
Vitos Super Red
Alu.Hawk + S/S Handle
Schick Proline [ 3 ]
Floid Vigoroso A/S Loion

As It looks like a busy day ahead, I wanted a no frills Shave with the Alu.Hawk which is last in this rotation. That Vitos is something else just produces the most abundant Lather in seconds - just like a Barber Shop, though the 404 helps a lot. I enjoy using the Hawk as It seems capable of delivering a very quick but acceptable Shave in terms of overall finish.

SOTD 12 September 2018

Pre-shave: Warm shower, Wright's Cold Tar Soap and cold water splash.
Soap: Cella Crema da Barba AllOlio Di Mandorla.
Brush: Simpsons The Duke 2 Pure Badger.
Bowl: Aesop.
Razor: FaTip Piccolo.
Blade: Gillette Silver Blue (Day 2).
Post: Floid Vigoroso.

Decided to go with the FatIp today - it was preloaded with a Gilette Silver Blue; a very light shave - 2 passes and I was BBS on the face and DFS + on the neck. After shaving with the Karve for the last 5 - 6 days there was not much stubble to shift this morning.

The Cella finished off with Floid are a great combination at the moment.

All the best,

Chris
