Greetings,

A new shave set up to start the weekend. The yaqi doc head /schmidt r10 handle is a wonderful frankenrazor, the appearanceof the head makes it looks very aggressive but it's the complete opposite but paired together with the right blade choice it's smoothly efficient.

Second outing of the clubman pinaud soap, which provided a superb lather for the shave in no time, leaving a wonderful post shave feel.

I've decided for the next month or possibly longer, regardless the make of the de blade, i will change it after two shaves purely to thin down the amount of blades i still have in my shaving den... Starting with the T7D platinum a blade i haven't used in ages, which matched up with the frankenrazor superbly, making a wonderful non-aggressive ,yet efficient smooth duo...The characteristics of them are very similar to the Gillette silver Blue & Astra SP, in sharpness, with a slightly sharper edge ,which can be a little rough on the first pass, but after that they mellow out...As always DE blade opinions are very subjective....I like Trig blades, too which i will use in my SOTD's next week. Both the T7D platinum & Trig blades are from the Treet factory manufactured in Pakistan.
My skin type seems to like indian & pakistani made blades, and count myself fortunate that i haven't had any problems with intermittent quality problems with either blades. As always YMMV.

A comfortable 3 pass + pick ups silky smooth shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a generous dollop of Creightons ~ Sensitive Post Shave Balm.

My face is feeling super smooth and smelling devine.;)

Enjoy the start of the weekend, ladies & gentlemen.

3 days of growth to take down. Time to use one of my favourite razors. My 2 day bum-fluff shaving routine means I don't often get to use the R41.

The P&B smells great and felt lovely on my skin. A really comfortable 3 passes with an easy BBS finish.

Soap: Proraso Red
Razor: Feather SS Kamisori / Muhle R89 Grande on subs bench
Blade: Kai Captain pink (6) / 7OC Permasharp green (1)

Feather Pro red Simp (1).jpg

Start of a training week with 2 Feather AC razors,
Today its the SS Kamisori for its 1st outing.
I started with the razor flat to my face and changed the angle until it was cutting, still quite steep though.
I completed 2 passes WTG and the XTG which left a DFS finish. No nicks or cuts which was a bonus.
Finishing off with an ATG pass with the Muhle R89 as i did not want to push it.
Nothing from the block which was a surprise and the Proraso performed flawlessly leaving my post shave skin very comfortable.
I will keep the set up the same during this week

No chins were harmed in the production of this shave (y)
Have a great weekend All.

A wonderful, close and comfortable shave this morning. The Simpson M7 is a really luxurious brush, one of Vulfix/Simpson's best. It certainly created a great lather with the Cashmere today, and the Game Changer removed it all with it's usual efficiency. Unfortunately my Bart's lime oil asb is now empty.
