Razor/Blade:- Merkur 38C / Gillette 7 O'Clock Black Super Platinum #3
Post/After-shave: T.N. Dickinson Witch Hazel Astringent mixed into the 240ml bottle with Natural Glycerin (20), Tea Tree Antiseptic (10), Lavender (15) & Peppermint (10 drops)
Fragrance:- L'Eau Bleue D'issey Pour Homme
 
Last night's shave. And my chosen theme was 'Wearing someone else's Tuxedo'

Work wasn't too enamouring last week and so my SOTDing activities were far at the back of my mind. So just to show because of a great wife and family life can look rosier than one thinks with wonderful support. My SOTD

A first class shave this morning. The pair of Simpsons created a very nice lather and the Rocca with a still sharp GSB did a fine job of removal. A good start to the day.

Training Day #2
A little disappointed with today's effort, the shave after the 1st 2 passes did not give as good a finish as yesterday, resulting in a full ATG pass & a Bit buffing with the Muhle.
I struggled with the brush and i believe it is just too soft, did it lift and coat the whiskers? i am not sure.
The Kai pink should be be OK even though it was on shave #7, maybe its going? I will put in a 3 shave Feather PB for tomorrow and swap out the brush.
It is probably my technique which is what this week is all about.
So the end result is a DFS+ finish, my skin smooth and comfortable and smelling very nice finishing with the last of the Copycat sample pack Executive, i am glad i got the full size of this one, its really nice.
I am ready for my Sunday visit with the Mothership.

No chins were harmed in the making of this shave

After 5 shaves the blade was getting a little tired but the result was still a very nice 'Face Feeler'.
Lots of extra shifts mean this is my first weekend off for a VERY long time and I intend to enjoy it!
