SOTD : Saturday 6th October - Friday 12th October 2018.

Prep: L'Oreal Men Expert Hydra Sensitive Birch Sap Face Wash
Pre: Proraso Sensitive Pre-shave
Brush: Unbranded Boar
Soap: Proraso Sensitive
Razor: Gillette Tech
Blade: Gillette 7 O' Clock yellow (1)
Post: Boots Tea Tree & Witch Hazel
AS: Boots Freshwood

Another first for me this evening in the shape of the 7 O' Clock yellow blade. I expected it to be sharp so I put it in my mildest razor. It gave a nice smooth shave but I still managed to summon up enough carelessness to create a couple of weepers. [Note to self: Don't shave when tired.] Bit of irritation from the blade too. Cleared up quickly though.
Not the best of shaves but tidy enough for work in the morning.

Shaving recipe for today.

Prep: Cool shower:/ L'OREAL~ Hydra Sensitive Birch Sap Shower Gel.

warm wet flannel to my face.

Pears ~ Transparent Lemon Flower Glycerin Soap.

Brush: Fine Stout 24mm Synthetic.

Face Lather.

Soap : Fine Accoutrements ~ Fresh Vetiver.

Blade: Dorco ~ ST300.(4)

Razor: Parker 24C.

Cold Water Face Rinse./ Homemade Lavender + Tea Tree Oil Witch Hazel Mixture./ Old Spice ~ Original A/S.

Aloe Vera Gel.

Since my recent ruthless shaving den clean out i've now started to give some attention to shaving products that ive hardly used.

I'ts been a long time since i last use my Parker 24C open comb, and forgot how comfortably smooth this razor is for a open comb,as with all my parker razors i've found a slightly steeper shaving angle is better to get a comfortable smooth shave.

The dorco ST300 blade still performed with sharp smoothness on it's last outing, pairing up with the 24c open comb superbly, feeling very comfortable with no tugging or dragging issues.

Maiden shave with the fine fresh vetiver soap, which i purchased to use with my fine stout 24mm synthetic brush. I've been wanting to try the Fine Accoutrements 'Fresh Vetiver' soap for a while, but due to me having a generous humble stock of other Soaps & creams to contend with i banned myself from buying anything shaving related for a while.

Maiden shave verdict ?..A superb fine Accoutrements product duo, 'pardon the pun' the performance from the brush & soap was wonderful, providing me with a luxurious slick protective lather, a wonderful post shave feeling to the face, and a masculine fragrance that lasted throughout the shave & beyond.

All in all a great maiden shave with the soap i look forward to using it again in future shaves.

A very comfortable 3 pass +pick ups near BBS maiden shave with no errors to report..what more can i ask for.

Finishing the shave off with a generous dollop of Aloe Vera Gel.

My face is feeling silky smooth, & smelling devine.;)

Enjoy your day, ladies & gentlemen.

Gillette 365
Declaration Grooming Jefferson B5
Wholly Kaw Fougére Bouquet
Chatillon Lux TSM Fougère aftershave
Tom Ford Fougère d'Argent EDP

It's been a while since I last used the S2. What a razor! Smooth, comfortable and efficient.

The Gillette 365 blade has performed well on the last two shaves and didn't disappoint on it's third either.

The Declaration Grooming knot is finally starting to loosen up. This is one dense knot.

A great shave finished off with Tom Ford's Fougère d'Argent which is starting to grow on me. Bugger!
