Shaving recipe for today.

Pre:

warm wet flannel to my face.

Pears ~ Transparent Lemon Flower Soap.

Brush: Omega S10065.

Bowl Lather.

Soap : Blue's Goat Milk.

Blade: Super-Max~ Dollar Platinum.(3)

Razor: Merkur 37C.

Post:

Cold Water Face Rinse./Homemade menthol crystals +Eucalyptus peppermint,+ Tea Tree Oil Witch Hazel Mixture./ Duru ~ Mandalina Cologne.

Wilko ~ Men's Moisturiser.

Greetings,

Another early morning shave....

After the excellent invigorating cold water shave in my sunday SOTD, i'll be carrying on shaving with cold water for the rest of my shave this week.

The super-max dollar platinum blade /merkur 37C paired up together wonderfully,a very smooth efficient combo mowing through my stubble effortlessly. The merkur 37C & it's bigger sibling the 39C are a joy to shave which i would highly recommend to anyone sitting on the fence about buying a slant razor. Both of these german Fräulein's are a joy to shave with.

As always the chinese made Blue's goat milk soap provided a excellent lather for the shave, leaving a equally wonderful post shave feeling to my face..Another great shaving soap, which i highly recommend too.Don't be put off because it's made in china.it's perfectly safe to use..'You won't 'GLOW IN THE DARK' or have a face looking like a'BABOON'S ARSE' if you shave with it...However, a extra eye in the middle of my forehead has started to appear since starting to shave with it...that's probably the hard water from my area though.

A invigorating cold water silky smooth 3 pass + pick ups BBS shave with no errors to report.

Finishing to the shave off with a generous dollop of Wilko ~ Men's Moisturiser.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling devine.;)
;)

Enjoy your day, ladies & gentlemen.

Pre: Pears transparent original soap
Brush: Semogue 1460
Soap: Arko stick/Macca root Eucalyptus superlather,
Blade: Astra SP (1)
Razor: Parker 89R Heavyweight
Post shave: Alum block, cold water splash, homemade Witch Hazel Lavender/grapefruit/lime/patchouli astringent,
Balm: D&G Intenseo balm
Aftershave: Floid SE Mentolado Vigoroso A/S

Trying to keep the shaves the same, tweaked my superlather with 3 drops of Eucalyptus oil. Great on the face, a nice cool hit.
A very nice razor for the money, £14.95 again. Looks much more expensive, the handle is nice to look at and great to hold.

Shave started off well, the best start of all 3 of the Parker's. Much more akin to what I have been using, 1st pass no issues, 2nd pass I caught my chin, complacency strikes again. Put a stick on & it dried straight up.
A very good 2 pass shave.
I think this one likes the Astra SP.
Well happy, the Floid SE is definitely growing on me and I do like the menthol hit when it first goes on.
Balm and a splash. BBS Skin and smelling - well - nice.
Enjoy your evening all.
A excellent shave set up...The Parker 89R is a hefty efficient razor,..I'll have to give mine a outing. I have nine Parker's in total!..four passed on to me by work mates, five i've bought ,The 3 piece models i find more efficient than the TTO models.. Great all round razors fitted with either a aggressive or non-aggressive blade provide a excellent shave, look superb, great handles, great weight, at a very reasonable price...

Great little shave this morning with the Fatip Piccolo and a fresh Feather blade. It doesn't feel quite as close as the iKon yesterday, especially on the neck, but, a more than adequate and comfortable shave by this diminutive little razor.

SOTD 9thApril

Prep ~ Shower, Aleppo soap
Razor ~ Blackland Vector ( on loan )
Blade ~ Feather Pro Super
Soap ~ Barrister And Mann - Lavenille
Brush ~ YaQi Moka synthetic
Post ~ Thayers Rose petal WH

A cracking shave with the razor I will call it "Hammerhead" from now on because it reminds me of a Hammerhead shark! Fitted with Feather Pro Super it was in Cobra Classic territory at least as far as the shave was concerned but I have to say the Cobra for me still wins in the looks department, not that the Hammerhead isn't a good looking razor it's just the Cobra has more oh la la! :) p

Have a nice day people....:) P.

Floid Vigoroso A/S Lotion

As yesterday went so well, I decided to have a back to back Shave with the F11 Cartridge Razor, this time making rare use of a cream. The quality of yesterdays Shave was clearly shown pre shave, as the amount of stubble regrowth is quite sparse.

Having established the need not to rush a Shave with this Razor, by observing that need the Shave was very smooth, with an ultra close all round finish. The quality of the last two days Shaves completed without any problems, tell me that the F11 will make a good Travel companion for me on short trips. I am not fond of disposable Razors and the fancied Guard just does not work for me ,so despite being quite pricey the quality of the Shave I can get with one justifies the cost.
