PRE: Bulldog face wash
SOAP: PB Citra Royale sample
BRUSH: 24mm Yaqi Sagrada Familia synthetic
RAZOR: EJ89 Lined handle
BLADE: Nacet (2)
POST: Thayers unscented witch hazel
AS: Old Spice

Nice relaxing shave today. Citra Royale is a very pleasant summery scent and superb cushion, glide and residual slickness. Really impressed with the Yaqi brush, so much so that I can't use my other one as I find it too scratchy and doesn't lather as well. Just having another 'quick' look on Ali Express ;)
Have a good day gents

Prep ~ Shower, Birch Tar Soap
Razor ~ Pal Adjustable
Blade ~ Schick injector
Soap ~ Eufros - Zanzibar
Brush ~ Omega 10051 Boar
Post ~ Floid Black Aftershave
Scent ~ Nishane - Afrika-Olifant Extract de Parfume

A close smooth shave from the pal adjustable injector, I've not used this razor for a while favouring other razors in my stable but it is a very good razor none the less giving me the BBS finnish I like. The soap was outstanding and provided all the protection required along with a great scent.

Have a nice day folks.....:) P.

9/5/18

Razor - Lord L6
Blade - Silver Star
Brush - Zenith B07
Soap - Palmolive Stick
Post - Benjamin's Bay Rum

I had a few gripes with the Zenith B07 yesterday and today I decided to soak the brush in hot water for a little longer and use a bit more soap and the lather dissipation issues weren't present for today's shave and I had more than enough lather for 3 passes.

Even though the blade wasn't the smoothest, and the results not the best it was a very enjoyable shave.

Omega 10015
Rockwell 6S
Wizamet SI (3)
Stirling Tuscany
Nivea 2 Phase & Cerutti 1881

I don't use this soap all that often, which is a shame because I love the scent of it, very spicy and very nice. It is an old soap too from 2013/14 and the first Stirling or artisan soap I purchased, it isn't as easy to lather as the more modern formulations but it is every bit as good. It is a terracotta colour and as such dyes the brushes a little so I wouldn't fancy using it with my Simpson brush.

A good shave and the Rockwell continues to impress, I do believe I have found the razor to end any RAD. Going forward I would probably buy another Yaqi DOC in one of the colours they offer, purely because I like the look of it. It will take a special razor to oust the Rockwell as number one.

Gillette Mach 3
Plissoft Brush
Gentlemans Face Care Club Caribbean Lime Shaving Cream

Witch Hazel lotion
Speick AS
Nivea Balm
Selin Limon Kolonyasi

This is an excellent cream with a very subtle scent, although the brush took an awful lot of cream when giving the tub a quick swirl.

Vulfix 404
Vitos Super Red
PAL S/S Adjustable
Schick Proline ( 6 )
Pitralon Original A/S Lotion

Have been on an Injector rotation using Twin blades over the last few days. As a change am going for those that only take a single blade.Today used a PAL which has always provided good Shaves provided one does not rush.
With a Proline on board the Razor is smoother than with a standard blade and I got a trouble free Shave with a great finish. As good as the Shave was,I am pretty sure the Type F will be replacing it as my No 1.

Prep: Valobra Glycerlanolina soap, Myrsol Emulsion
Brush: Tony Forsyth P&C LE 2017 Platypus High Mountain White Badger
Soap: Sir Irisch Moos
Razor: Schick Injector Type G
Blade: Schick (2)
Post: Thayers Cucumber / Myrsol Emulsion
Scent: L'Artisan Parfumeur Fou d'Absinthe

I was expecting the Sir Irisch Moos to be good, but whoa! It has a nostalgic old school fresh scent, and a few notes that give away its personality as a stablemate of Tabac. I normally have to work a little to build lather on my face with sticks, but this soap lathered quickly and produced wonderful lather. Whilst I do not know for sure, I suspect it is the identical soap base as Tabac. Mäurer & Wirtz certainly know their stuff. The lather was very dense and creamy, with excellent residual slickness. Lovely post-shave feel, also. Three passes with the Type G, with a buff or two along the way, for a DFS+. A generous application of Fou d'Absinthe, and I am feeling wonderful. :D
