Brush - Yaqi Mysterious Space Handle Fan Tuxedo 26mm
Soap - TFS Rasozero Agrumella
Razor - Yaqi DOC/Souplex Bakelite Handle
Blade - 7OC Black India (7)
Post - Witch Hazel/RSC Balm
AS - Eyup Sabri Lemon

First time using the new TFS soap, which has a nice clean lemon scent and it produces a nice lather.

To my surprise the Yaqi DOC head paired with a Souplex Bakelite handle, I didn't expect such an old razor to have the same size thread. I was expecting it to be the same specs as Gillette razors of the era and the handles don't work with modern razor heads.

The 7OC Black seemed to return back to it's initial sharpness in a different razor, the third pass in particular the blade felt incredibly sharp. I'm continuing to be very impressed with the blade, very sharp but smooth nonetheless.

Prep : warm water
Razor : Fatip Grande Gentile
Brush : Proraso (MÜHLE) boar
Blade : Wilkinson Sword
Soap : Palmolive Men classic shaving cream
Bowl : Aliexpress (MÜHLE look-a-like)
Alum : De Vergulde Hand
After shave : Denim original

First time I used the Palmolive shaving cream. This is really nice stuff, lathers easy, has a nice not overwhelming smell.

Razor: Rolls
Brush: Razorock Aluminium with TGN 2band
Soap: WSP Sandalwood
Aftershave: BBA Balm
EDC: Tabac

This photo was taken before I removed the "So Called" Safety Bar. I find it much easier to operate and to be perfectly honest its function is very minimal anyway. If you are going to cut yourself you are going to cut yourself.
:)

This Rolls is very sharp and true and with a little practice can provide you with a supershave. In my opinion its a very underestimated bit of British engineering and I highly recommend that everyone should at the very least give them a try. They are cheap as chips and I have found that by buying a couple you can in general make up a mint example just make sure you are buying the same model.
Another great bit of hardware is the brush with a fantastic TGN 2band knot. Great flow through with excellent splay and lovely soft tips with a little scritch that i sometimes enjoy.
Great lather as expected from WSP. A note on the lather: I tend to mix the lather on the watery side to increase slickness while using this particular razor. Its the same consistency as that of straight razor shaving.
Finished off with the awesome BBA Balm and a generous splash of Tabac.

Enjoy your shaves.

  • The Bathhouse - Cuban Cedar & Lime
  • Stirling - Margaritas on the Arctic After-shave Balm

BBS & DFS, quick and smooth, the Triton at it's end of life, into the blade bank. The Cedar & Lime is great soap, smells very nice also, buit for me it could have been a bit more punchy. That punch is now the MitA, love that smell, of to Hospital, a long long day ahead by four specialists..

Best wishes for today.
Hope you get good news

Vector, Scts heather,620.JPG

Pre: 1912 Scottish Heather
Brush: Semogue 620
Soap: 1912 Scottish Heather
Razor: Blackland Vector
Blade: Feather Pro (2)
Post Shave: Alum Block, cold water splash, homemade Witch Hazel
Balm: Floid AS Balm
A/S: Floid Mentolado VIgaroso

The Vector fitted with the Feather PB is just "WOW" - brilliant.
I have had some very nice shaves these past few days and the Myatt trial from Friday is a long forgotten memory.
Another great bowl lather in the Giles from the 1912 Scottish Heather and Smog.
A 2 Pass shave WTG and 1 Multi direction pass leaving me BBS and very comfortable. Its going to be really hard to rest this Lady.
Some very small hints from the Alum block which went in seconds, a nice cold splash and a touch of home made Witch hazel left to settle while i cleaned up the tools and work station.
A dollop of Floid AS balm and a splash of Floid SE - very nice, sitting with the cooling glow of menthol.
whats not to like?

Have a great night all.
