Greetings,

A new eclectic shave set up to start the weekend...Maiden shave with the Eco Warrior Bergamot & Lime Shaving Bar.

I used the soap like a shave stick rubbing it directly into my stubble then started to build up a lather with my wet brush adding more water to the tips of the brush continued building the lather until i got it to the consistency i like, adding more water to the tips of brush in-between each pass.
It's a thirsty soap and can take a good amount of water when building up a lather without fear of it drying out.

The soap has a wonderful scent, a good texture it's protective, slick and most importantly the lather didn't dissipate or dry out on my face in between each pass, leaving an impressive post shave feel to my face. An excellent Shaving soap,of which i look forward to use again.

A pleasurable 3 pass + pick ups near BBS shave with no errors to report.

Finishing to the shave off with a generous dollop of Aloe Vera Gel.

My face is feeling super smooth and smelling divine.;)

Stay safe, and enjoy the start of the weekend ladies & gentlemen.

Finally able to fully bring out the best with the brush...what a pleasure...and the resulting lather from the soap was thickly creamy and slick...more than what I need....luxurious!!
Shave with the razor paired with this blade was a revelation......smooth, sharp and very comfortable for 3+1passes with bbs result. Truly a gem! But some weepers...hmmm. Let's see how for the next few shaves...
Icy water postshave followed by Thayers was great & aftershave closed a super session.

A really good shave with copious amounts of lather. This PAA brush works really well and the larger handle feels good in the hand. A close and comfortable shave with a smooth result.

Todays shave was scheduled with the 5/8th Wilkinson, however, i had an early morning Honing session with the French "Le Colon" to see if i could get an edge on it, after a bit advice from @Fergiebilly, i took my time and spent a little more time on the 1K giving the razor more laps than i did the first time, i also checked with the nail test and hair cutting test, once happy i continued with the progression, on checking at the 3K i notice the toe was not right so went back to the 1K until the edge followed all the way through to the end of the toe.
Taking my time i took the razor through the full progression each time giving a few more laps than normal and was quite happy with the way it looked and felt, i decided to use it alongside the Wilkinson to compare my work as i know the Wilkinson has a very nice edge on it.
I used the Lea stick "Crayon style", just rubbing it around the face until there was a light covering, then with a face-full of warm badger whipped up a lovely slick lather.
I completed the first pass WTG with the "Le Colon", i was very happy with it, nothing like the last shave i had with it, a nice smooth pass, even over the chin.
I loaded the face with a little more soap from the stick and completed the face lather after a "tip dip", i really did not need the extra load, but hey ho.
The second pass with the Wilky was a touch smoother, so i have a little way to go, practice, practice, practice.

A very happy shaver this morning

Stay safe and enjoy your day All
