Day three of Decadent December delivers my Ever Ready Streamline. My favorite Gem razor by far. BBS of both noggin and face. I really like the Gillette Pure Shaving Cream I used. It whipped up a nice thick, creamy, slick protective lather. Great shave that left me feeling cool(5 drops of M-Bomb and Cryogen AS), clean and refreshed. Shaving is my favorite part of the day!

Pre: Pears Original Transparent
Brush: RR400 Plissoft
Soap: Proraso Red
Razor: GC-OC 0.84
Blade: Polsilver (1)
Post shave: Alum Block, cold water splash, homemade Witch Hazel
Balm: Barts Balm Lime Balm & Lotion
Aftershave: CK Be

2. Tues.JPG

Another nice shave today, more involving than with the AS-D2. The GC-OC giving just enough blade feel as i would like which keeps me on my toes.
Again the 1st WTG pass was as smooth as yesterday, i am now thinking the 2 Polsilver's i originally tried are from a "trial" pack and may have been from a duff pack as these seem much smoother.
3 Passes for a silky smooth comfortable finish, i did get a little indication from the Alum, all calmed down by the Barts Balm Lotion and Balm.
I Finished off with the CK Be although its not a great match for the lime scent.
Happy with today's effort.
Have a great day All

Prep: bath and face washed with simple soap.
Pre shave: Proraso white
Soap: Mitchell's Wool Fat
Brush: Vulfix 404 mixed boar/badger
Razor/Blade. Merkur 37C slant/ Gillette SB (1)
Post: Alum block and cold rinse
Aftershave: Tabac
Balm: Nivea sensitive

It was only the 2nd time I've used the 404 and so it's not broken in at all; despite this I managed to produce a good face lather which was enough for 3 passes, giving an enjoyable BBS shave.

Tue 3rd Dec.

Cyril Salter/ MS. ED2band
ATT SE1 / Windrose handle
Schick Proline [ 1 ]
Aclarado Glacial A/S Splash

Today I used what is my favourite AC/SE, the ATT SE1 is a medium weight and feels good in my hand during a Shave, With a fresh blade onboard and a good and effective P & B lather, the Shave was smooth and comfortable and I had no problems getting super close all round finish.

Prep: Nivea Deep Cleaning face wash
Pre-shave: Proraso Green M&E
Bowl: Recycled T&H cream bowl
Cream: T&H West Indian Limes
Brush: AP Shave Co Synbad synth
Razor: Rockwell 6C Gunmetal on R4
Blade: Personna Med Prep
Post: Leftover lather on face during gear cleanup, warm then cold water rinse, Proraso Green M&E Lotion

Keen to advance from my first shave with the 6C on R2 plate, I went straight up to R4 this time with 2 days stubble to go at. Got some lather & preshave clogging on first pass on R2, but none on R4. This really is a smooth razor. I was a lot happier with the result after R4 & post shave feel was fine. Proraso lotion leaves me feeling refreshed. I thought the bulky looking head would be a pain when shaving under the nose but it hasn't been a problem. No blood spilled. Much better than R2. R5 next !
