Greetings,

A very enjoyable 3 pass + pick ups 'W.S. product themed' DFS with no errors to report.

All of the wilkinson sword products worked well together. The soap bowl, i find performs much better once bloomed for a few minutes with hot water, and i've added the glycerin drops it creates a slicker protective lather, adding to that, i rub the puck directly in to my stubble rather than load it into the brush when i face lather, which i find builds a much better lather with the brush. I also have a Wilkinson Sword Shave Stick 'blue one' of which i've yet to try, i'll have to add it to my shave set ups soon to compare it with the bowl... The W.S. Classic razor, could easily become my daily razor..A superb non-aggressive razor , paired up with the right blade choice give a DFS.

Vulfix 404 mixed
MWF
Schick Type F
Schick Proline [ 3 ]
Pitralon Classic A/S lotion

Those who have trouble lathering MWF should try the inexpensive mixed 404, it really makes short work
of producing a good lather from the MWF and many other hard soaps too.
I really enjoy Shaves with the Type F as though seemingly quite mild, it deals quite effectively with my tough beard. Also the Shape and Feel of the Aluminium handle is very tactile and I find it very manoeuvrable. The Shave was very smooth and comfortable, and whilst the finish is not quite as close as with other Razors it is of a very acceptable standard.

I had a 8 days beard on so I tried something a little different today - 28.10.2018

Taylor of Old Bond Street Eton College Shaving Cream - damn fine elegant smell
AP Shave Silksmoke in 28mm knot - so far it has been my go to brush for recent use
Rockwell 6S on #3 with super max super platinum blade
Saponificio Varesino Felce AS

3 passes, first 2 WTG and the 3rd XTG. Not resulting in a BBS, but it was still a honest and very pleasant result.

4 days without a shave due to some unwanted attention from mosquitoes while abroad. 28/10

Bulldog Original Face Wash and Scrub

KOS Preshave oil

Musgo Real Shaving Soap
Clubman Pinauld Synthetic Brush

Parker Variant (set at 1.5)
Feather (3)

Alum Block
Boots Freshwood AS
Barts Balm - Bergamot (sample)

Nice comfortable shave. I think my skin reacted well to the rest.

SOTD - Hot Towel, Razor Master Toivo, RazoRock Monster, Merkur 37C, Astra SS (1), BBA Post Shave Balm.

I've been shaving with Toivo all week (bar Friday and Saturday to get some growth) and have thoroughly enjoyed the week. I've found the performance of the soap to be spot on. The scent is still divisive IMHO, but pleasant. The only thing to really let the soap down for me was the post shave feel. I found it left my skin slightly dry, so have to follow up with some balm to restore moisture. Not a deal breaker as it is only ever so slight.
