Prep: Valobra Glycerlanolina soap, Myrsol Emulsion
Brush: Rudy Vey Shavemac Silvertip Badger
Soap: Lea Classic (Tallow)
Razor: Blackland Blackbird
Blade: NOS Personna Super Platinum Chrome (2)
Post: Thursday Plantation Tea Tree & Witch Hazel, CRSW Alcohol-Free American Barbershop Moisturising Aftershave
Scent: Alvarez Gomez Barberia EdC

I really enjoy the Lea Classic tallow puck soap. It is a little on the thirsty side, but once properly hydrated, for me it stands shoulder to shoulder with other classics like MWF and Tabac.
Three passes for a BBS finish. I was enjoying the shave so much that I got a little enthusiastic with my neck strokes, resulting in a touch of razor burn. A timely reminder that whilst the vintage Personna blade is buttery smooth, it is also very sharp.

Soap - Vitos Green
Brush - Yaqi Fan Tuxedo Mysterious Blue Handle
Razor - Lord L6
Blade - Gillette India WS (3)
Post - Witch Hazel
Balm - RSC
AS - Old Spice

I rubbed the chunk of Vitos Green on my face opposed to loading it with the brush then built the lather, I was surprised at how much lather the brush managed to create, the Yaqi Fan Tuxedo's functionality is truly impressive - much more so than my boar brushes, but I know I am fickle and the lure of the boar brushes will have me back once again. The Vitos Green does produce an excellent lather, a decent a cushion as I've come across but it's not the slickest and the post shave feel isn't as good as Vitos Red & Red Coco. The Lord L6 and GWSI worked well but not as well as with the blade in the Yaqi DOC, but all in all today's shave was another great one.

RazorRock Syn.22mm
MWF
Clemak SE- circa 2010 -London
Gem S/S [ 1 ]
Pitralon Classic A/S lotion.

Been some time since I used this Vintage SE Razor. Designed to take Propriety blades it still takes a Gem blade without modification. From the off there is lots of blade feel, warning you to take care and not rush as it is ready to bite. Though inattention got a nick on my cheek, but thereafter all went well with no further blood spilt. The finish attained was not bad rather like those I get with a G Bar, but done with an OCMM on steroids. This is never going to be a regular in a rotation, a Razor you might want to try now and again to test your Shaving expertise.

Mondays Shave

I have been working all weekend and it was crazy busy today but managed to take time out this morning to have a lovely shave.

Pre: Vitos
Brush: Razorock 400 24mm Synth
Soap: S.V. 70th Anniversary love the post fell of this soap
Blade: Polsilver
Razor: Karve Solid Bar E Plate
EDT: Copy Cat - Oud and Wood
Balm: Barts Balm Amber and Morrocan Jasmine

Monday evening

The Fat
RazoRock Plissoft 24mm synth
Face lather
Gillette Old
Polsilver SI
Thayer's Rose Petal and Aloe Vera
Proraso M&E after shave

This (I think) is the first time I've used a Polsilver. I know the discontinued Łódź ones in the brown packaging have an almost legendary status amongst our group; @Blademonkey and others, for instance. They must be outstanding, because the Super Iridiums I found to be very, very good. I don't know if they'll eclipse the Gillette Silver Blues: time will tell, I guess.

Anyhow, all elements combined to provide an excellent shave; the Fat gave its usual high standard of cushion, protection and glide for the Old (an efficient centenarian, if ever there was one). Cool and eucalypted from the Proraso.

Pre: Nuage Menthol Oil
Brush: Omega 63185
Soap: Vito's Super extra
Razor: TMFDRITW Rocnel P 316
Blade: 0.5 Voskhod
Post shave: Alum Block, cold water splash, homemade Witch Hazel with added oils
Balm: Floid AS balm
A/S: Homemade Bay Rum courtesy of @Electrif

Where do you start with a title like that?
Anyway today I was lucky enough to meet Arthur @Electrif and purchased his Rocnel 316 P. After some great advice and practical lessons I decided to use it for tonight's shave. The razor was cleaned in barbicide today ready for tonight.
I was also lucky enough to get a Vito's soap sample which I pressed into a tin and some of Arthur's Homemade Bay Rum A/S.
A nice hot face wash, a layer of the Nuage oil, a nice face lather with the Omega and Vito's, it worked really well.
The razor was loaded with half a Voskhod and I was ready to go, very much with a lot of intrepidation.
Using the same advice of using my ER 1912 for the1st time, I started with the head flat to my face and gradually dropped the angle until I found the cutting angle, it was not actually too far away from normal DE shave angle, the soap and oil doing there job I continued without any incident at all on the first pass, during the rinse off I noticed that my face was not that stubble free, prepped again and went for an ATG pass, the blade was tugging a bit and after the second pass I still had a lot left. This is actually a very mild razor with the Voskhod in it. I decided to do a multi pass with my game changer just to finish off, I did not want any soreness.
The next run will be with an Astra SP as I know it cuts my stubble easily. I will also use the same care and attention.
Some indication from the Alum block that did not last long. A splash of homemade witch hazel, a good dollop of Floid balm and a splash of @Electrif's homemade Bay Rum AS. And very nice it is too.
Summary
That bloke in the video is doing something wrong or is a complete radge packet. With practice and blade match I am going to really enjoy this heavyweight.
All in all a very enjoyable experience.
Thank you very much Arthur.
Have a great night all.

PreShave: Warm water, from the tap
Cream: TOBS Platinum Collection
Brush: Kent BK8
Bowl: My recycled cream bowl
Razor: The Sledgehammer (Merkur 39C)
Blade Astra Platinum (3)
Post Shave: Alum

Fragrance: None—work day

A good shave to start off the workweek, and I quite enjoy the TOBS Platinum Collection cream. It's a traditional soapy smelling cream with the right amount of lubrication for a close shave.
