Soap PAA Cavendish
Brush Yaqi 26mm Orange Black
Razor GEM Push Button
Blade GEM Stainless 2nd use
Post & Aftershave
Ice Water + Special Thayers Mix
Hyaluronic + PAA Cavendish Splash
My top soap. Love the scent. Good performance too. Creamy ans slick.
2nd shave with this SE razor & blade. Was careful with the angle. Generally smooth. Abit tricky on the neck going atg. 1 weeper as a result which disappear after rinsing. Managed and enjoyed a 3+1pass. Result was a satisfactory DFS++. Post and aftershave was excellent... cavendish splash is heavenly. Rating 9/10

Not the best shave today, the razor was a little "tuggy" especially around the chin area, i will put it back on the hones to try to improve it. The edge looks OK but it is just not right.
I cannot find anything out about this razor on t'internet which is a shame. I think the " Le Colon" tag is something to do with the Colonial helmet worn by the french colonists??
Todays stars of the show were the soap, brush and splash.
I have an SAS finish from my 2 pass routine, nothing from the block and I am smelling real good.
Stay safe and enjoy your day all

If a Razor Comes Off the Hones Tuggy then the Issue is Probably the Bevel NOT Being Set Right Off the 1 K Hone..It Should Shave Arm Hair from the 1 K Stone..French Razors Can Have Notoriously Hard Steel..Also Take Extra Care Whilst Going through the Progression..(y)

They Can Take a Moment to Bevel Set Compared to Other Razors.. :p

Happy Honing..

A new soap from a new UK artisan. Scent on this one is Lavender, bergamot and vetiver. I was expecting a bright scent but it's quite a dark scent, that I actually like. Some vetivers can be quite dark, almost to the point of smelling smoky and this is where this one sits. Performance was good and the soap lathered easily and took a good amount of water. Slickness was good and the glide cushion etc, was there. Is this a groundbreaker? No, but it's a good offering for their first foray into the shaving soap game. Always good to see a new artisan from the UK.

I'd researched this before P. - have a look at the following links -

cheers - I.
Yes, Ampulla is a good place to buy lots of medicine/toiletry type containers and bottles...they don't do vintage though if that's what you were looking for.
