Ad photographers often cheat by using shaving soap to replicate ice cream because it doesn't melt in the studio. NatJag cheats by using ice cream instead of shaving soap because it looks good in photos and he gets hungry during a shave:rolleyes:
I think he learned this from @chard52142 ;)

Evening all, I hope you’re all well.

Brush - 26mm Yaqi Timberwolf
Soap - Exto Cos Egyptian Oud
Razor - Rockwell 6S (R4)
Blade - Gillette Rubie #1
Post - Alum Block EJ Limes and Pomegranate Balm
Splash - OSP Neroli

Well I decided to shave the beard off this evening, went down to 0.5 with a trimmer then let the Rockwell loose.
I’m very pleased with the way it went this evening, the razor paired well with the blade and the soap and brush combo created a great lather.
All I’m left with now is a moustache and a George Michael bum ticker on my chin. Am I allowed to say that? Not sure, but I did anyway.

Have a great evening gentleman.

Wed 30 Sept
Prep: Shower L'Occitane Homme Eau Des Baux
Cream: Piccadilly Unscented
Brush: Yaqi Rainbow
Razor: Rockwell 6C R5
Blade: Ladas SS (1)
Post: Hot and cold rinse
AS: Old Spice
ASB: Boots Freshwood
EDT: L'Occitane Homme Eau Des Baux
A nice 2 pass shave with the 6C and Ladas blade not as smooth as the Rapira Swedish SS and the Old Spice is a nice match for the eau de baux

I certainly was inspired by @chard52142's Mr Whippy pictures.

This is entirely true - in my experience - my first job - before they let me loose with my Nikons into the wider world - was in a commercial studio - a fair chunk of the work was food photography - Christmas pudding - to satisfy people's expectations - we used to set fire to them with liquid lighter fuel - brandy flames don't register on film properly - ice cream? Mashed potato dyed the appropriate shade by the food tech. The prime directive - if you were taking the picture of a finished dish - for a cook book - that sort of thing - it had to be shot from a top down angle - as if you were just about to pick up a knife and fork and get stuck in. Don't believe everything you see. I.
