SOTD : Saturday 24th - Friday 30th November 2018.

Yes I found it 'sweet' but maybe not the best description. The scent wasn't for me but I do rate the soap base.

I used it again this morning and know what you mean Rob, it's a slightly challenging scent for sure, must admit I expected it to be a little fresher than it is but I guess Oregon woods smell a bit musty :p Fantastic lather today, better than my first attempt and at least on par with B&M (just to correct my comment in the original SOTD post.)

The Semogue boar is now whipping up a storm with soaps, but still will not hold onto the lather for more than a single pass, a disadvantage I find only with boar brushes. Turned perceived negative to a positive this morning as I could face lather twice!

Warm water shower - Bulldog face wash and scrub

Proraso White Pre shave cream
Clubman Pinaud Synthetic Brush
Musgo Real Clasic Shaving Soap

Fatip Piccolo
Derby Extra (1)

Osma Alum Block
Boots Bay Rum (as AS)
Neals Yard AS Balm

First time I have used an OC and I have heard the Piccolo can bite so went for a mild smooth blade. A couple of small weepers but overall a very good shave. Some feedback from the alum, which was nice.
