Prep: Valobra Glycerlanolina soap, Myrsol Emulsion
Brush: Saponificio Varesino Two-band High Mountain Manchurian White Badger
Soap: Martin De Candre Fougère
Razor: Feather AS-D2
Blade: Vintage NOS Wilkie Light Brigade (2)
Post: Thursday Plantation Tea Tree & Witch Hazel, CRSW Alcohol-Free American Barbershop Moisturising Aftershave
Scent: APR Fenchurch EdP

Another very smooth and comfortable shave. Some users find the AS-D2 too mild, but it is efficient and has almost surgical precision, making it a joy to use.
Three passes for a DFS+.

Thursday 27th December

Pears Glycerine Soap
Lea Shaving Cream
Omega 11137 Boar Brush
Gillette Guard Single Blade Razor
Witch Hazel
Palmer's for Men Moisturiser
Brut Musk AS

Rather than a 1 piece disposable razor (Plastic is an issue in our house) this will be my choice for aircraft carry-on. A mild shave with a good result after a bit of work
Thought I could give it a try prior to the early shift I have today. The holidays were not long enough:(

I've tried the guard and prefer the Bic metal or an injector as a carry on.

I've done it a few times but if the person knows an injector from a cart (highly unlikely) you could be introuble.
Agreed, technically a injector is a safety razor with a removable blade, so that means it could be confiscated, but your luck depends on the security check people. Best play it safe and only carry razors where the blade cannot be removed.

I once took an envelope with 1/2 dozen AC blades in it on a trip both ways by accident. I meant to post them to another forum member, I thought I left them in the car as I meant to post them on the way to the airport. It was only when I got home I found the envelope tucked in the pocket of my carry on bag. If they were DE blades I am pretty sure they would have been confiscated, security probably had no idea what they were. I won't do that again though.

A shave that is up there with the best. A BBS finish after an incident free 3 pass shave. Very slow, attention to detail strokes which needed no pickups at the end.

The Shaving Shop soap is a delight to use, giving great cushion and razor glide. The slick feeling between passes is as good as it's scent - brilliant!

Finishing off with another selection of Bart's Balms aftershave and balm (I could probably get away with using one or the other but hey ho) has my skin soft and smooth as glass.

Another reminder of why I enjoy DE shaving so much.

Have a great night folks. [emoji1303]

I have accidentally carried on a DE with a blade loaded and yet I've had to sacrifice a deodorant stick due to liquid capacity on the same flight.
I think 99% of the security don't know a blade and a razor are separate articles.

Prep: Face wash with Pears glycerine soap.
Pre: Seven Potions oil
Brush: Razorock Plissoft
Cream: Tabac - bowl lathered
Razor: Gillette Superslim Twist
Blade: Polsilver SI (3)
Post: Cold Water rinse - Boots Tea Tree and Witch Hazel
ASL: Tabac
ASB: Nivea Sensitive

Good shave. Tabac cream is very slick and protective. I can only imagine the hard soap is even better. Love the scent - takes me back to the 80s.

Cheers
Steve
