And for this 'no way' morning my theme is 'Everything Orange'

IMG_20190921_064623.jpg

Not an orange razor - Stainless General
Not an orange blade - Kai Captain
Not an orange brush - Razorock 400
It is an orange soap - Extro Arancia
It is an orange splash - Extro Arancia
It is an orange scent - Hermes d'orange concentre

Yes I lied as not everything was orange after all. But I won't lie here, one superb shave and a great start to the day over here at my father's place in East Yorkshire.

Have a great weekend and a great shaving week ahead all you forum people.

And no way did I make the first SOTD this week!

Saturday 21st September

Alvarez Gomez Barberia Cream
Omega 20102
WS Sticky
Polsilver Super Iridium
OSP Lemon and Cedarwood Aftershave Tonic
Alvarez Gomez Barberia EDC

I have no idea why I haven't used the Sticky for so long. It's a great razor. Equally, I have no idea why I didn't use the Alvarez Gomez software more often through the summer. Marvellous stuff. So all in all, a bit of a shamefaced shave. But a lovely one. Have a good weekend gents

Today's shave:

- Barrister & Mann Fougère Angelique
- Maseto Classic 2-Band
- MÜHLE Sophist with Feather blade
- Hâttric aftershave

:)

The appeal of the B&M Reserve soap base continues to elude me. While I can bowl lather the Glissant to perfection while being half asleep and in total darkness, this one is more like an actual job, where I have to pay constant attention and adjust frequently to get the soap-to-water ratio right and end up with a decent lather. It should really be called Hassle. Best thing about it is it always reminds me of this:

Greetings,

A new shave set up to start the weekend.

I enjoyed my week break away from the mill. It's been ages since i last used the valet auto Strop vc1 which is a pleasure to shave with, i've mentioned before that it's unbelievable how at ease and how quickly i've taken to this wonderful vintage SE lady, paired together with the modified gem ptfe blade was a smooth efficient duo mowing through my stubble with ease.

Second outing of the vie-long shave stick which my voluptuous italian omega 49 boar brush created a wonderful luxurious protective lather in a short space of time, the omega 49 is a superb brush for face & bowl lathering. Everything in my shave setup this morning worked together excellently, resulting in a wonderfully smooth 3 pass + pick ups silky smooth with no errors to report.

Finishing to the shave off with a generous dollop of Aloe Vera Gel.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling devine.;)

Enjoy the start of the weekend, ladies & gentlemen.

The Vector IS my favourite Razor, she delivers a beautiful shave, very efficient and very comfortable, matched with the Feather PB it works a treat for me.
This week will be an SE week matched with the MWF, maybe a change on Tuesday.
3 Passes today, WTG, ATG and a buffing pass,
A really nice post shave, Nothing from the block i am surprised at how good my homemade Neroli stuff works. It has left my skin soft and supple and the Copycat Neroli has got me smelling very nice indeed.

You'll probably notice the picture doesn't correspond to the text. The Stirling Spice provided a great lather and scent but started burning the minute I put it on. Similar to the TOBS Royal Forest. Sadly this great soap won't work for me. The 1805 stepped up and the rest of the shave was completed without incident.
