Great lather from the bowl! Nice scent, thick and slick. Shave was good. Quite smooth as auto cruising. Blade still good and sharpish. 3+1pass ATG, XTG/ATG, ATG & ATG pickup. No weepers today. Ice water face rinse immediately after and really good. A DFS % BBS result today and rating 9.7/10.

First use of the General I purchased from the BST in August and all I can say is wow! 48 hours growth taken down in 2.5 passes for a sublime finish. I could have walked away with a more than acceptable shave from the first pass. I wasn't sure how this shave would go having come from the lightweight Hawk V2. The General is a weighty razor but buttery smooth and seems to work well with the Proline.

Wow. First time since purchasing in August? Wow! Welcome to the Colonial Club and what is one of theeeee best razors out there.

Rooney 1/3 Ivory Finest (26/55)
Eufros Tobacco shaving soap (tallow)
Gillette New Long Comb/Triad Polished-Satin Diamond Titanium
Wilkinson London Bridge (6)
Cigar Aficionado aftershave

The old razor head is very light in weight, and it balances well with the titanium handle.

A Lovely Shave today with the first of the 3 soaps I received yesterday from Signature Soaps.

This one is called Valentia - For my tastes it is a wonderful scent Sandalwood , Bergamot and Vetiver Heaven, the soap performance was excellent and the Merkur Progress and Gillette Yellow seem a great combination.

One small adjustable razor rookie error , I forgot to adjust the razor up for half the first pass , so was wondering why it wasn't cutting very close :)

Preshave: Argan Oil Soap
Soap: Signature Soaps Valentia
Brush: Cadman MDM 24mm
Razor: Merkur Progress
Blade: Gillette Yellow Sharp Edge
Splash: Proraso Red
Balm: Bart's Rosemary and Sandalwood
EDT: Dunhill Pursuit

Greetings,

A new shave set up to start the weekend. This week will be a boar brush & shave cream week as it's been a while since added both of them together in my sotd's, along with various eclectic wet shaving assortments that have been past on to me from workmates & friends.

Starting the weekend off with a duo maiden shave using the L'0REAL ~ Barber Club Protecting Shave Cream + ASB,which i bought from my local Asda in the sales section .

Mixing the non-foaming shave cream together with the KMF moisture shave cream using my trusty semogue 830 boar it created a wonderfully fragranced slick protective frankenlather, considering both of the shave creams are brushless they lathered up brilliantly together.

The Ab Inox Eco safety razor, last of the DE razors to be added to my razor rotation that was kindly gifted to me by a workmate, another razor that i've infequently used since i've had it.Paired together with the gillette winner blade was another excellent match resulting in a silky smooth 3 pass +pick ups comfortable acceptable shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a generous dollop of L'0REAL ~ Barber Club Reinforcing ASB.

My face is feeling super smooth and smelling devine. ;)

Enjoy the start of the weekend ladies & gentlemen.

Keep razoring - Brass Colonial General
Keep sharp - Schick Proline
Keep Brushing - Razorock 400
Keep creaming - L'Occitane Cade

Back at work and staying onboard all week but I've brought a selection of some of my favourite shaving items to keep me ticking over. And they certainly did a wonderful job. Something to look forward to as there isn't much else in the way of entertainment outside of work. As we say 'Eat, sleep, tug'

To you all

Keep safe
Keep well
Keep happy
keep shaving

Keep it Japanese
