First use of the General I purchased from the BST in August and all I can say is wow! 48 hours growth taken down in 2.5 passes for a sublime finish. I could have walked away with a more than acceptable shave from the first pass. I wasn't sure how this shave would go having come from the lightweight Hawk V2. The General is a weighty razor but buttery smooth and seems to work well with the Proline.

26 March 2020 – morning – no rush:
Three day shave - continuing my efforts with a good result. Still a few tiny areas not exactly smooth but we're getting there. Not quite happy with the Erasmic soap. Find it difficult to build up a creamy lather compared to the Erasmic cream. Maybe not enough time spent building it up? Had to reload for each pass (3). Anyone tried that soap and/or still using it?

Brush: Badger no name
Razor: MÜHLE R89
Blade: MÜHLE Rasurkultur (one blade came with razor)
Pre-shave: Nuage Shaving Oil

I used the same lather technique as yesterday with the La Toga stick, the scent is light on this one for me, a clean scent and nice enough, a great face lather giving plenty for the shave, again, this technique leaves no waste and the stick will last and age. The lather was nice and slick.
2 passes WTG & XTG and some light ATG buffing for a DFS finish, i actually thought i had achieved a BBS, then found a small sandpapery spot on my LH top lip, Hey Ho, there are more pressing things to worry about.
The Barts Balm Grapefruit & Pink Pepper Balm is now gone and i have a little bit of the lotion left, "all good things" and all that.
To finish i was going to go for some Proraso Red splash and then changed to the Green at the last minute, why, well why not.
Very nice.
Stay safe and enjoy your day All.

Prep: Bath
Pre: Proraso red
Brush: Big Jock Silvertip
Scuttle: QShave
Cream: TOB Grapefruit
Razor/Blade: Rex Ambassador/Gillette 7 o'clock yellow (3)
Post: Alum and cold water rinse.
ASL: SV Cubebe SE
ASB: 1912 Classic

Enjoyable 3 pass shave with the Rex mainly at 2.5, dropping down to 1 for ATG moustache area. Ramping it up to 4 for cleanup pass on troublesome missed bits on neck. No stinging with the alum nor ASL.

Floid Vigoroso A/S Lotion

A Shave today with one of my favourites and another Design Classic, the futuristic PAL Adjustable. Another Razor which is either liked or loathed as some find it difficult to Shave with. I am fortunate in that I can and it is probably one of my favourite modern Injectors confined to the use of one blade. Not a bad Shave today considering that perhaps I was due a blade change, quite smooth with a pretty good finish.
