Decided to take a break from the CBL soaps today and reached for a proverbial favourite in Proraso Red. I enjoy sandalwood scents and this one is just so good.

Back to a SE in the Supply V2 just to flip things up. I like the heft and have the most aggressive plate on it all the time. Getting much better shaves out of it now and it will be a keeper.

Lovely three pass BBS shave today but it takes patience with the Supply SE. Slow and methodical for me pays off whereas the Colonial General is a Ferrari by comparison. Just me I guess. Topped it off with some Sandalwood balm and Guerlain Santal Royal! Well at least the cat thinks I smell nice! Stay safe!

Rating: 5 / 5

Razor: Supply The Single Edge V2
Blade: Schick Injector
Brush: Yaqi 24mm Tuxedo - Sagrada Familia
Lather: Proraso Red
Aftershave: Blackstone Sandalwood - Post Shave Balm
Additional Care:
Anoru Ceramic Bowl
B.I.G. Co. Alum Block
Guerlain Santal Royal

Rooney 1/2 Ebony Finest (24/57)
Hemingway Accoutrements shaving cream
Paradigm 17-4/Bob's Razor Works Bull Mastiff
Wilkinson London Bridge (5)
Hemingway Accoutrements aftershave

Today's brush is one of my softest ones, much different than the ivory and faux horn 1/2 brushes I used a few days ago. It worked very well with the cream but probably would have struggled just a bit with a hard soap. The razor/handle/blade combination is a great one, giving me an easy BBS shave.

Sotd - today - I'm not sure what day it is - I have almost completely lost the plot.

Prep - facial scrub
razor - ATT Calypso - the mild one
blade - Gillette - 7 O'clock - yellow (1)
brush - Chubby 1 - best
soap - MT - Black Beer No.1
post - witch hazel
a/s - Old Spice
balm - De Vergulde Hand
scent - Dior - Eau Sauvage edp.

Result - you need to read the following in a Geordie accent - alreet? Day two in the Big Brother House - and Digimonkey is starting to lose the place big style - note - never refer to yourself in the third person - not a good thing - Bono does that - and he is a total c**t - starving babies - that you seen to be so concerned about? - just put your hand in your back pocket you w****r - my new razor - famed for being a bit mild - why point it at a full seven days growth - are you mental? - at the moment - yes. It worked a treat - bbs in two passes - I like this razor - a lot. I've done a lot of hard traveling - nobody speaks your language - for extended periods - and been on the hill - alone - for weeks on end - didn't bother me at all - 48 hours of lockdown - I'm going mental. Enjoy your shaves - one and all - yours - I.

@RussellR5555 - thank you mate.

Oh - I did find out that my camera can do colour sotd pictures - who'd have thought? - who's Carmen? - that's my handwriting but I have little understanding why I wrote that - not the heroine from the Bizet opera - I'm fairly sure about that - answers on a postcard please.
