I enjoyed a very relaxing shave on this 27th day of Decadent December. My Gem MMCF sliced through face and noggin whiskers with no hesitation. Proraso shave cream is always a steady performer for me, but doesn't measure up to my favorite MWF. Since I am traveling, I missed my regular software kit, but still ended up with a decent DFS. I feel clean and refreshed!

RAZOR: Gem Clog Pruf
BLADE: Pella SS PTFE
PREP: Cold water rinse followed by a scrub with PAA's Charcoal-Menthol Cube Preshave Soap
BRUSH: WCS Best Badger
CREAM : Proraso Green
POSTSHAVE: Cold water wash with Glyce Glycerin soap followed by Thayers Lavender WH and finished with Old Spice Fresh Lime

Hectic day ahead as Sons ad Two grand daughter here. Lots to do in the Kitchen, being a bit adventurous as cooking Haunch of Venison and do not want to overcook it though SWMBO does not like rare meat. Nice Shave with the TNNSER proving to be a real winner.

I've yet to try the original aqua velva, but the Spanish version is wonderful, which I bought blind, purely because of the Williams name. It complements the Williams mug shaving soap superbly.. I have another bottle on standby when I finish the one in my posting. As you've said great value, for a old school scented a/s splash. Give it a try it's excellent. Regards. B(y)

brush - Simpsons P8 Phyl - best
soap - Signature - Valentia
post - rose water toner
a/s - Deliplus locion
balm - none.

Result - stellar.

The last of my - 'new to me' soaps to try - Arran, Ariana and Evans - finally - my first use of a Signature soap. F**k me - the latter is a country mile ahead in performance - I mean really - not paying much attention - thick creamy lather - glistening - it looks quite odd - in the tin - shaving putty - might be a better description. Doesn't matter. From when I pointed a brush at it - to lathering - face in my case - it worked effortlessly. Top tier - for me - there's no doubt of that. Job done. Enjoy your shaves - I have to go back to work tomorrow. Harrrumphh. Yours - I.

Great lather from signature soaps Hibernia with a citrus note to compliment the champagne!
Loving the brass asylum razor bought recently from Marco / Missoni on here. The more aggressive head works nicely with an Astra blade on a few days growth.
Went to take the photo and my lovely cat April wondered what I was doing!
